My one friend at college chews tobacco. (I know...disgusting) Anywho...he had his spit bottle sitting on my room mate's computer desk and a bunch of my friends got to wrestling around. To make a long story short, someone knocked the bottle and it just missed going all over my room mate's laptop. It was still pretty awful for the kid to clean up, but at least my room mate's computer was saved. =X
I hope the guy who knocked it over cleaned it up and not your room mate.Fuz said:My one friend at college chews tobacco. I remember going round to my friend's house a couple of years ago and we went into his room. I got to take a look at his computer. His monitor screen was filthy beyond belief. It looked like he'd taken a sip of his drink, presumably coke, read something that made him laugh and spat his drink out all ove the screen. And then not even bothering to wipe it off. I don't know how people can do that to things that cost so much money. >.>
That's what happens when you get lazy. I try to keep my computer clean, but it still gets dirty pretty often. The screen especially, I have to clean that thing every few days, it's pretty annoying. I eventually ended up getting one of those "screen magnet" cleaner things, made cleaning a Hell of a lot easier. The keyboard's pretty easy to clean when I have to. Just pop off the keys, use a can of air and some Lysol and it's clean. It's pretty annoying if you forget where the keys go though, happened to me once and I spent an hour figuring out where everything was supposed to go. XD
Ho hum...I'm procrastinating on packing for school. Sooo much to pack. I think I bought way too much food to take back. I got a cardboard box to stash it all in, and my god...it's overflowing. And the refridgerated food isn't even included in that. =X
Ugh. I am so not looking forward to packing my stuff for school. Luckily I still have a whole week... and I live only ten minutes away. XD; When do you go back anyway? Most of my friends already have...
Ten minutes?! My school is three hours away. =X I go back tomorrow morning. And yeah...most of my friends are back at school, too. Kinda sucks, cuz there aren't many people to hang out with. As much as I'm not looking forward to the work part of school, I guess I'm ready to go back. College is a good time. XD
Mhmm, ten minutes. And that's ten minutes without going on the highway or anything. XD; I like it though... I get to live on campus (although I think I'll commute next fall...), yet I can come home whenever I want. And I get to keep my car at school, so that's another plus. <3
I'm so not looking forward to my schedule this semester. It pretty much sucks. ><; But it'll be nice to see some of my friends from college again~
Sounds like a nice setup. I couldn't be that close to my parents though, personally. They drive me incredibly insane.
Yeah, I'm not overly siked about my schedule, but I suppose it could be worse. I have a lighter load than last semester, which is certainly nice. ^.^
I think I'll commute because it'd definitely cost a lot less. And my mom's a bit upset that I barely use any of my meal plan because I only eat one meal a day while I'm at school, if that. It'll probably be easier if I just commute. That is, assuming I get a good schedule that isn't as spread out as mine will be this semester.Abby said:Oh, wow, that setup sounds nice, Ashley. Why do you think you'll commute in the fall? My school is only like...20 minutes away or so, but I just don't think I would be capable of living on my own. o_o;

My schedule is awful. I liked mine last semester... but this semester, ick. ><; My classes are so spread out. I have an 8am lab, omg. x_x; And then I have spread out classes until like, 7-ish, which sucks. And I have to take gym this semester, eww.
Living on your own is a lot harder than I thought it'd be. I guess if you're naturally responsible, it isn't that bad. =\
8am lab?! EWW!! That is disgusting!! There was no possible way to schedule that differently?! I feel so bad for you. ;_;
I thought dilligence matters a lot when it comes to independence? Like, having the motivation to do what you need to, and things like that. Eh, I wouldn't know, I've still got a long way to go until I'm fully independent, but I can tell I'm not going to look forward to it.
Haha, yeah. My feelings exactly. I was in the last possible group to register and that was the only lab time available. x_x And lucky, lucky me also almost got stuck in an 8am calc class which would have meant an 8am class four out of the five days of classes. Eww. But I lucked out and found one last open spot in a later calc class. I was so greatful for that because I'm sooooo not a morning person. At all. ><;
But yeah, see why I'm going to hate my schedule? XD
And I don't find living "on my own" in a dorm to be that difficult at all. But then again, I only live in a dorm for half the week anyway. Hmm.
