    OK, as most of you know I have only been here for like 7 months on here or so, and I only know about 4 staff members and I feel ashamed not to know more,

    Most of the staff has been here a while and probably has a interesting story about how they got there position, I would like to know more about you

    Like:

    When did you join PC?
    When you first got promoted what section did you get?
    How many times have you been promoted?
    What is it about pokemon that attracted you here?
    and more information if you have any to give, do you have a job, what kind of education do you have, what is your major in college. such as things you like to do, anything that we the normal members can relate to:D


    Of course if this does not get closed I'll be listing links to the posts of the staffs, you can think of this like a interview to help us get to know you:D.

    I would ask normal members to keep there posting in here in a low dozes, but I cant do that:D, so I ask you to just comment on the posts of the staff with following up questions from the info you just read:D, I hope this will be a success and that the staff will participate in this :D

    When did you join PC?: Apr '07, just after I got Pearl imported.
    When you first got promoted what section did you get?: The humble D/P/P
    How many times have you been promoted?: Just the once.
    What is it about pokemon that attracted you here?: I wanted to trade. Simple as that. 8D

    I've got a job at the local outlet of a nationwide store, I'm in a 6th Form College taking my A-Levels. I'm into reading, cycling, swimming, gaming and football (or soccer to you rong amerikens =[) Umm.. Anything else? Just as long as you guys know us staff don't bite. Or do we...

    How many times have you been promoted? Once obviously.
    What is it about pokemon that attracted you here? I can't transfer a hacked deoxys to Emerald ;;

    I have no job, but I do believe I can relate to other members. It's not like I'm off in my own world you know, I'm like every other member...I just have a blue name ~_~;
     
    When did you join PC?: August 2005, so I managed to join while PC was still experiencing its glory days.
    When you first got promoted what section did you get?: I was made a moderator of Home of the Sprites (now called Pixel Art)
    How many times have you been promoted?: Three times. First time during December 2005, second during August 2006 and in May of this year.
    What is it about pokemon that attracted you here?: I lurked the Manga section the most for scanlations of PokéSpecial Adventures.

    At the moment I'm currently studying for a diploma in Art and Design, of which I've kept a stern interest in since I was actually still a kid. I'm generally an easy-going person who loves conversation above all other things, so don't hesitate to drop me a message if you wish to talk.
     
    I agree with Chibi :/ The staff aren't a super special clique that needs to be interviewed or anything, we're just like the rest of y'all. Buuuut, since this does look fun... |D

    When you first got promoted what section did you get? Other Chat, actually. But after I quit I got Pokemon General~
    How many times have you been promoted? Twice. Once in January of this year, when I got Other Chat, and then again at the end of September (after I quit), when I got Pokemon General.
    What is it about pokemon that attracted you here? The fanfiction XD;

    I don't have a job, at least not yet. I've applied to a fast food place called Chick Fil A', buuut yeah. I'm just a 9th grader at the moment, since I'm only 15, so no major~
     
    Only responding to this because it's undeniable - we are a clique. Not one of those mean ones that exclude everybody but still, we are very cliquey.

    You can always get a Masters Degree;) *That's if you want to continue to take art in school;)*, So since you wanna major in history you must be good at it, am I right?

    When you first got promoted what section did you get? I was originally only the moderator of Other Games, but recently acquired Other Entertainment and Writing (you all should post there more often)

    What is it about Pokemon that attracted you here? Ehh, I dunno. I was, what, five? It was the fad. If you mean what attracted me to PC, then that'd be the Sprite Comics section when it was alive. I originally joined to post comics and only frequented that section, but eventually, I spread out to most of the sections unrelated to Pokemon. XD;

    Mmm, I'm a highschool senior, almost out of it. I've got a job at a company (ambiguity ftw) and that's quite enjoyable so far. :D I play games, mainly violent ones, but I'm pretty interested in all sorts. I absolutely love to read. Easy way to gain my respect is the ability to write well (especially if you write zombie stories, I loooooove zombies<3). My favorite book series is Harry Potter, buuut I've yet to open my copy of Twilight. :x But I anticipate good things from it. Ew, I've typed more than any other mod. ;;

    Also, I don't see why other members should keep their posts to a minimum. :x They're welcome to ask us questions if they want, because your survey isn't very informative with only four questions.

    When you first got promoted what section did you get? The Diamond/Pearl(/Platinum) forums.
    How many times have you been promoted? Twice.
    What is it about pokemon that attracted you here? Well, when I first joined, I guess I was just really excited about the games in general. FireRed/LeafGreen had been released some months ago, and I guess I sorta became a "follower" of the games. I was making some Google Searches about Emerald, found Serebii and its forums, and when I joined there a friend of mine (QFred) told me about PC and whaddya know, I'm here.
     
    When did you join PC? I'm serious on this one. I was looking for a cooking recipe when I stumbled upon this forum, where anything can happen (as I've learned through the years) that was not cooking recipes. It was back in June '04.
    When you first got promoted what section did you get? Other Entertainment & Other Writing. I later got Pokémon Fan Fiction, and then later I actually was an inch from getting Other Voting Polls, but I was promoted instead.
    How many times have you been promoted? Three.
    What is it about pokemon that attracted you here? Hmm... Sweet scent?

    What is it about pokemon that attracted you here? Trading Pokemon on wifi. However, I was so appalled at how many times I was getting ripped off so I complained and bothered waka a lot, lol. I worked on a event/hack guide, and I reported anyone trying to trade hacks. I hardly ever ventured out of the D/P forum. Yeah, I was a bit of a nut back in the days and I still am crazy but I've settled down. I believe I was asked by Sammi to be modded, and I was so shocked and excited. It was a hard decision for me but I enjoyed the experience. School and family issues kept conflicting with my modding, so I left for some months to get my mind off certain things.

    Outside of forums:
    I don't have a job, but I have done volunteer work at my local zoo, mentored/tutored children, and helped with events at my school. I'm a Junior in High School enrolled in the International Baccalaureate program. I'm not sure what I would like as a career, but I'm looking to get a degree in Engineering (some college guy suggested it to me, sounded interesting xD). I don't particularly practice/like sports, but I like to draw and photoshop. I don't remember how I found this place, but I did make a previous account before this one. I never went on it so I forgot about it until after I made this one. I don't think I'm famous, but I do have a lot of awesome friends from here. None of my real life friends even know I like Pokemon, so it's nice to chill here.

    Eh, I hope you learned something new.. :>

    When you first got promoted what section did you get? On September 14th 2007 (I cannot believe I still remember that date) I got promoted for the first time to mod the MCG general area (MCG, MFC and Other Clubs).
    How many times have you been promoted? Twice. I got promoted for the first time on Sept. 14th 2007, then resigned in Feburary '08. I asked for my job back about a month later, and got promoted for the second time in March '08. I resigned once again in July '08.
    What is it about pokemon that attracted you here? The ROM Hacks. XD;

    Well, I have to say that I'm glad I'm not staff anymore. I prefer being a normal member than a staffer.

    Not the entire staff is a super special clique, but there are super special cliques within the staff. >;

    Well it's either transfer to a double degree in teaching and arts or leave it till the end and do a diploma of education. I think you've misunderstood though - I'm not doing visual arts or anything like that, haha.

    Um, well I'm not sure how good I can say I am without sounding too cocky, but I certainly enjoy the subject a lot. I suppose I wouldn't enjoy it if my ability was lacking, so yeah.

    • When I was promoted near midnight on May 5th, I got New Users / Welcome. Later down the road I became moderator of Strategies & Movesets.

    • Twice (If you're counting both the actual modship & obtaining Strategies & Movesets)
    What is it about pokemon that attracted you here?
    • Well, it was actually a Wailord avatar that lead me here. [You can read about that here] I'm still a Pocket Monster fan, and I just like it overall. So, yeah. I guess you could say it was mainly the competitive and strategy aspect.
    and more information if you have any to give, do you have a job, what kind of education do you have, what is your major in college. such as things you like to do, anything that we the normal members can relate to?
    • Heh, I do not have a job, I take online (or virtual) school, I am a Junior. I play games, watch anime, and enjoy my time on PC. I'm a major history hunter, these forums, I mean. Usually when you see me "Searching Forums" I'm on the Today's Posts page, but actually a good amount of the times I'm searching. I like looking through archives and previous threads, it's a lot of fun for me. I love being a member of PC, I haven't been here a year yet, but I'd say its been of heck of an eventful year. XD

    Any questions (since I'm... not really sure what to say XD) just ask. :D

    When you first got promoted what section did you get? Funtime and Other Trivia, my favourite areas overall.

    How many times have you been promoted? Three. One in funtime in April, 5th; another in GBA pokémon games... someday in September (can't remember... the 21st?), and a last one to S-Mod in October, the 8th.

    What is it about pokemon that attracted you here? Rom-hacking (exactly, Pokémon Shiny Gold (b'-')b)

    Well, I'm in the first year of my university, studying Journalism and Image. In PC, you'll see me around OT and the Pokémon Games areas, mostly. And, hum, I'm a great videogame music obsessor. That's all, I think XD

    I first got promoted as the moderator of Other Voting Polls. A few months later, Karli quit the staff and New Users / Welcome needed a mod. I volunteered and got it. (Random bit of fun trivia: both Sammi/Sana and I modded the exact same forums and both of us have now made it to Assistant Admin |D Good luck forums, amirite?)

    Three times. I got promoted to moderator on November 2nd, 2007. Promoted to Super Mod on April 19th of this year. Thennn lastly Assistant Admin on October 25th of this year.

    How many times have you been promoted? Three times. As I said, I was first promoted to S&M in November 2007. Then, at some point in early 2008, we were desperate for a D/P moderator, so I volunteered. Then in August 2008 I was promoted to Super Moderator.
    What is it about pokemon that attracted you here? I was actually first attracted to here for the Fan Fiction. Then, the RP sections caught my interest and that's where I was active up until September. Then, I started getting into competitive Pokemon and that's where my path down staff membership began.
    Job- I'm a Cashier and it sucks.
    Education- I'm currently a Freshman credit-wise and a Sophomore year wise in College. I plan on becoming an Elementary teacher.

    Lol I was a cashier and I hated it:D, so you went from normal member to S-mod pretty fast, you must be a weary strong personality to achieve that:D
