When did you join PC?
May 1st, 2004. My join date on this account's misleading, becuase this was my first account. I made this one to change my name, back before the name change thread was made.
When you first got promoted what section did you get?
Other Voting Polls. ♥ Like Audy said, I also was given NU/W after about three months of modding. I forget I modded there sometimes. NU/W was a handful.
How many times have you been promoted?
Four, five if you count coming back from break.
- Modded November 7th, 2005. So, it's my three year modding anniversary today? Neat!
- Added to NU/W somewhere in February, if I recall correctly.
- S-modded on May 20th, 2006.
- Made AA sometime in December of 2007. I can never remember this for the life of me.
- I took a break and was technically promoted again October 30th.
What is it about pokemon that attracted you here?
When I joined, I was a big Ash fan. One of my friends (the other Angela, I can't spell her username off the top of my head) ran it back then and wanted me to post. So I did. XD;

Personal mumbo-jumbo:
- I'm a sophomore in college, still undeclared. (Kind of debating an English major, but who knows anymore.)
- I don't have a job as of yet. I need one, though.
- I love writing. However, I'm not very good at it... XD; Currently, I don't post it, because I want to finish it before seriously editing it, and I don't want to post it until it's more polished.
- I also like playing video games. I need to get back to The World Ends With You. Been so busy lately, though. @_@

I could babble more, but I won't. :(
 
When did you join PC?: June 3rd, 2007. Yeah, quite a while ago, I was inactive for a long long time, I only became active about 4-5 months ago.
When you first got promoted what section did you get?: 28th October, 2008. Emulation/Rom Hacking.
How many times have you been promoted?: Once.
What is it about pokemon that attracted you here?: Rom Hacking.

I used to work at my local supermarket in the Delicatessen Department... it was hell. I don't plan on working again until after University. I'm in my last year of High School and sadly theres only one more day of it left. Rom Hacking is my main hobby but apart from that I also enjoy Programming and Web Design although I haven't done either for a year now. I also enjoy playing Soccer and Badminton. ^___^

What is it about pokemon that attracted you here?: Event collecting.

I'm a senior in high school and I can't wait to go to college. I'm going to major in Graphic Design with a minor in Business. My top choice college is Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY. I run cross country and winter and spring track. I don't have a job but I would love one. I needs the monies to spend as much as I do. |D I habs a boyfriend but he lives in Florida and it saddens me. ):

I found the link to PC on a signature from a different forum while I was looking for a good Lasagna recipe to add to my Communication Sciences school project, since our team had to research and present Italian customs.

God forbid I googled "roasted duck" and found Peking Roast Psyduck on an Other Chat topic. I wouldn't have joined, I'd probably have thought the place was nuts...

...not that I have never thought this place is nuts anyway. D:

What is it about pokemon that attracted you here?: My n00bness at the time (I couldn't even type without n00bspeek. XD) and the fact that I was thirteen and had nothing better to do with my time.

Er... I'm an eighteen year old Canadian who intends on going to University for Environmental Geography next fall. I live in the middle of absolute nowhere and I work at a small town Subway Sandwiches. My hobbies include gaming, graphic design (I'm only subpar, however), watching anime, going to parties, and getting people to try and guess my gender (joke).

When you first got promoted what section did you get? - The Other Anime and Manga forum, currently known as Japanese Entertainment, think it was November 30th, 2004. I was given New Users / Welcome about a month later and promoted two months later, I think.
How Many times have you been promoted? - Four
What is it about Pokemon that attracted you here? - Nothing, I had already lost any major interest I had in the franchise by the time I joined, but I quickly found that I liked the members here and the forums were really interesting, so I stuck around and made a ton of really good friends.

Summer 2002. Way back before the Old PC even existed--PC was an Ikonboard then. :] I rejoined on the vBulletin version of PC on December 14, 2002.

When you first got promoted what section did you get?
Mixed Voting Polls and Other Anime. Nowadays known as OVP and Japanese Entertainment. I've also modded Other Chat and Webmaster's Discussion. I also mod the Community HQ. ♥

How Many times have you been promoted?
Four, to get to Staff Admin. A few more if you get all technical, but no one likes that.

What is it about Pokemon that attracted you here?
I just liked joining Pokémon forums back then. My interest in Pokémon wasn't very big then and took a bit of a nosedive the next year, but I love the atmosphere and I've never totally lost interest. :] It was the slogan that actually attracted me here both times!

Uhh... as for more personal stuff, I'm majoring in Computer Science at university. I'm on a work term right now, working as an office admin in finance but I tend to help out with paperwork and reports for almost everyone. 8| Um, aside from that I don't do much aside from video games, classwork, and sitting by my computer. LOL I'm actually not that interesting. I don't know what else to say.

Just the once lol. Just got to mod the RPG's. I then asked to be demoted because I had college and stuff...not enough time x_x

What is it about pokemon that attracted you here?

-Umm...just Pokemon lol. I loved the games I didn't mind the anime and the TCG wasn't so bad. So I guess it was mainly the games that attracted me and I pretty much wanted to join a forum that was Pokemon based that wasn't SPPF XD. This place was more fun and laid back ^_^

I'm currently studying art in university in the hopes of then going onto a specialist subject (hopefully animation or film and video). I have a crappy little job as a cinema worker...though I do get free cinema so It's not all bad. I love to draw, write and read and movies/games are my favourite pass time as I'm pretty laid back and don't like to work too hard lol. I love to RPG and though I may seem like a home bunny, I actually love going out with friends and having a laugh be it to the cinema or a night on the town and I adore, swimming, surfing, netball, camping and hiking o.o

When did you join PC?: November 30, 2007, because I saw a trade that I wanted.
When you first got promoted what section did you get?: Sometime near the end of May, and I got the DPPt section.
How many times have you been promoted?: Once, just for modship. But then I asked to be demoted because school and a bunch of other stuff didn't allow me much time to actually mod much.
What is it about pokemon that attracted you here?: The complete awesomeness of the games.
Outside of the forums: I'm a freshman in High School in the IB (International Baccalaureate) program. I don't have a job, and I enjoy playing games, being with friends, watching TV, and messing around with GIMP.

When did you join PC?
Early in 2003. Wow, really? Yeah, a long time ago. I had some truly awful signatures and avatars of Haruka in swimwear.

When you first got promoted what section did you get?
It was less than a month after I joined, and it was for....the Ruby and Sapphire section? I totally impressed the sparse staff back then, since I was all "Pokemon professor" and stuff. I've always tried to use expertise to ease me into otherwise uncomfortable social situations.

How many times have you been promoted?
Well, if you consider net status, I pretty much ended up back where I started. But, mm. I made the biggest jump ever, I think. From Super Mod to Admin, and then created two new positions.

What is it about pokemon that attracted you here?
I was a dork and wanted to get all serious about the mechanics of the game. All of the other Pokemon forums were slow or not as filled with awesome people as this one.

Personal stuff? I'm more of an idea than a person. ♥

What is it about pokemon that attracted you here?: It actully wasn't Pokemon. It was Teen Titans. XD A friend showed me a TT RP here, and gave me his account.
I'm just a student in high school. : > I love anime, drawing manga, and I'm a competitive Preliminary Champion Irish dancer. This is the first website I joined, the first forum I joined, and the first site I became a mod in (and the only one, at that XD)
I love making friends and I try to be friendly and kind to everyone. I'm also very hyper. XP

How many times have you been promoted?: Just that initial modship. I also can't remember when I left staff. Uhh...this Spring? I know it was around when Brawl was released XD
What is it about pokemon that attracted you here?: I didn't come here because of Pokemon

Reading over this...lots of people got promoted from being a mod in a few months. I lasted for years D; Anyway, not much else to say. I'm in university and I don't post here very often now.

I became one of 10 new Moderators on January 13th, 2004 (...thanks to that old "mod test" or whatever) and was promoted to Super Moderator sometime in September 2004. I still remember when Kairi/Abby told me about it over AIM. I totally flipped out, heh.
What is it about Pokémon that attracted you here?
Uh, actually...I used to stalk the forums and steal pictures from peoples' signatures to put on my website. I was such a n00b. XD; Eventually I decided to join, and became hooked because everyone was so friendly. The Pokémon stuff was only a bonus.
