Wigglytuff or Clefable?

Clefable all the way. I once played through to and beat the E4 in Leaf Green with only a Clefable and a Venusaur, so definitely Clefable over Wigglytuff any day.

Red or Blue? Interpret that however you want :p

Skarmory because it's awesomely-designed. Steel bird, who can say no? Mantine has that 4x electricity weakness and never really stood out to me in general.

Close Combat. You can continue using it without any loss in power at the cost of super low defense.
