Not a big fan of gen iv but they did do some things right, I'd pick physical special split cause it helps a lot of pokemon like Feraligatr for instance that had a high attack but their typing was special or vice versa. Day and night is a nice feature though, endless day makes the games seem kinda lifeless.

Sandslash. I think Excadrill is more powerful, but I just like the design of Sandshrew and Sandslash.
