So apparently a solar eclipse means the Moon gets between the Earth and the Sun, so the day becomes dark for a few minutes. A lunar eclipse means the Earth gets between the Sun and the Moon, so the Earth casts its shadow on the Moon.
So I'd say solar eclipse, more impressive :)
