Those pieces of glass placed in front of your eyes

I have perfect vision, so I don't actually need them. I do have to wear sunglasses though. My eyes are very sensitive to the bright sunlight. The sun literally burns my eyes the moment I walk outside. x_x

I can't really explain what I wear for sunglasses. I guess they are sort of square framed? O_o I have tons of them laying around, and I never even where them. I lost the pair I was really fond of though. ._.

I'm a former glasses person. Got lasik surgery at 18, never went back to them since. But honestly, glasses did fit my personality and I miss them to this day.

I've worn glasses for several years now for my near-sighted vision.

What's funny about it though was that, for the longest time, I always got migraines. I'm talking about getting them on a regular basis, like 3-4 days a week. It drove me nuts and eventually, I found myself having problems seeing from a distance. All of my headaches nearly vanished after I wore glasses! I never realized that all my headaches were related to having vision problems, but I'm glad I finally solved it.

Anyway, I also tried contact lenses, but I never liked them. I always found them to be more of an inconvenience than anything. I went back to glasses and I haven't looked back since.

I wear glasses for some bad astigmatism that I happen to have developed from an injury back when I was a baby. Some nice frame-less glasses are my type of eye wear.

I wear glasses! I don't... really... need to... but I do anyway. My prescription is really weak because my left eye is pretty great and my right eye is still pretty good too, but my glasses do help me with distance and it's a looot better wearing them at night. I also prefer how I look with them (they make me look less tired!) so I tend to wear them when I go out and don't bother as much when I'm just sitting at home. When I was younger I always prided myself on being the only person in my family to have 20/20 vision so I was a little disappointed when I found out that was no longer the case a few years ago, but I've really warmed up to the glasses since getting them.

Spoiler:

These are the glasses I wear. :) I recently just got the lenses replaced to the um... tinting ones? Transition lenses, I think they're called? The ones that fade into sunglasses when you're under UV rays for long enough. Only problem is I haven't been outside enough since getting them to see how it works very well. xD;

I wear glasses/contacts (contacts most of the time, glasses when I don't have to go anywhere, feel lazy, or took out my contacts too late the night before and don't want to get an eye infection). I always expected to have bad eyesight because my parents had terrible vision, but my vision didn't actually deteriorate until eighth grade, and I got contacts the summer before ninth grade. I also wear sunglasses very frequently because my eyes seem to be really sensitive to sunlight (it's become a lot more of an issue since I started wearing contacts/glasses, but they've always been somewhat sensitive).

When my eyesight first got bad, I felt like most people around me had fairly good vision, and I was somewhat self-conscious about having to get glasses/only wanted to wear contacts so that people wouldn't know my eyesight had gotten worse (I got contacts before I got glasses, unlike a lot of people). Once I got to college, though, almost everyone I knew had bad eyesight (seriously, I can only think of about five people from college and beyond with 20/20 vision), and I stopped caring.

As for my glasses, they're pretty nondescript. I like mirrored sunglasses, though.

Yeah, I have glasses. As others have said, my vision deteriorates over time due to a family condition. It was perfect before middle school, then I needed it. At first, I was depressed at needing my glasses and cried for a bit, because I appreciated my perfect vision. But then I just kind of got over it, started drawing myself with them, and now they've become a part of my signature look. I have no plans to correct my vision at this time due to funds, and contact lenses are a big no-no because I don't want to stick things in my eyes. So I'll just stick with these things. :P

I pretty much wear them nearly 90% of the time. The only times I'm not wearing them is when I first wake up and am too lazy to put them on to go on the computer (I'm near-sighted, so I don't need them to read, but it is a tad uncomfortable not having them one when I am on the computer), I'm going to take a shower, I'm going to bed, or I'm going out in the rain and I don't want them to get needlessly wet.

I should be wearing them, but I don't. My eyesight is horrible.

I just got my glasses a month ago. But I don't really wear them.
My friends told me that they look good on me

My eyesight is still great, but my parents were like, Come on, just in case. So they somehow were able to calmly coerce me into getting glasses. :(

I never wear them when I'm doing anything like work, but I put them on when I'm walking in the school hallways or something. It's ironic, but I feel that that way at least they won't go to waste.

Yeah, that's me. I have to wear them regularly otherwise my eyes aren't too great for seeing far distances. Although I do take them off on occasions that I feel I don't really need them.
