Are you a big travel nut? Where have you been? Where would you like to go? Where would you recommend I go?

    I've been everywhere, man.
    Crossed the deserts bare, man.
    Breathed the mountain air, man.
Of travel I've had my share, man.
    I've been everywhere.

But in all seriousness, my favorite two places to go are Ocean City, Maryland, and Sandusky, Ohio for Cedar Point.

Yes travel to Chicago. It's beautiful, has a fantastic bar scene & is right next to Lake Michigan. Oh and I hear they have the best people there too ;D

I love to travel & it's always been one of my big life goals to experience as many places and cultures as I can. I've been to mostly big cities in North America, as well as Egypt a loooong time ago. I'd love to see South America, Asia, and Europe (though I have a big interest in Eastern Europe). Being Arab, I'd love to one day see the home of my ancestors, but I'm sad it may never happen :( BUT YAY TRAVEL.

I'd love to travel but unfortunely I've never been out state let alone the United States. If I had the funds to travel I'd probably visit Japan and Thailand.

Actually, I'd like to add Washington D.C, to the list. That was a fun experience too. Only been there once, but it's something I will never forget.

If anything though, I'd love to visit Canada as my #1 destination on the list. ^__^

I've been to the falls as a kid. Beautiful at night. No idea how my parents talked me into riding the Skylon Tower elevator, probably would never do that now. Always wanted to go back.

I've only been outside my state once, and have never been out the country. Funds usually prevent that. I'd love to travel though. I have a list of places I'd like to visit.
Though I may visit Japan next year with the local community college that takes a trip every year.

The farthest I've ever been was Seattle, and I've been all over Tennessee. We're kinda broke all the time so we can't travel much.
I would love to go to Sweden or Australia though! That'll be a goal in the far future for me~

Travel is great. I've been to London and Scotland and to several different prefectures of Japan. It's what I usually save up my money for. Takes maybe a year or two to feel like I have enough though.

I'd like to go to Canada someday, and maybe to some other states. (I've only been to three states including my home state.)

I would totally recommend Japan to anyone since there's no real end to the things you can see and do. California's not bad either.

I went to various American states in 2012, on my own money. A lot of shit had happened that year and I needed to get out of the country and do things, live life, etc. I was there right during the most vicious part of the election season (iirc I left about a week before the vote itself), so it brought to light every stereotype I've ever seen or had about America and it was lovely! There are some... fascinating people in your country! But it was very entertaining. I went to D.C, NYC, LA, San Francisco and Vegas! I wasn't 21 at the time so the main reason I was in Vegas was more or less as a pit stop - go see the Grand Canyon, do cheap shopping in the outlet malls and just experience the place before the hustle and bustle of getting around the fucking disaster that is San Francisco's layout. On that same trip, I also went on a cruise to Mexico and was one of those abhorrent unprepared tourists who step out onto the shore and realise that the heat is actively trying to kill them. Cabo San Lucas & Puerto Vallarta were absolutely breathtaking.

It was the first time I'd left the country in years, as the last time I'd travelled was to move back from France to New Zealand and there wasn't much fun in that, lol. Most travelling had been done when I was really young/not old enough to appreciate it. When we lived with my disgustingly wealthy grandparents in Paris, we had more money to spare and the access of having a dual French/NZ passport and the EU on our doorstep made things quite easy. Not to mention that only having one other sibling at the time as opposed to three made things a lot better logistically. Zero money today so it was good while it lasted! We went to Germany (only once to see my father's relatives), Spain, Russia and Italy, but I can only vaguely remember Nuremberg and Rome. Spain is a total blur to me, and I was only like two or three years old when we went to Russia so zero memories of that. But the photos we have of Arkhangelsk... beautiful.

I've also been to Australia like four times, but I wouldn't really call it travelling as it was solely to visit relatives in Melbourne/Brisbane and I got bored very quickly.

and that's what you missed on Glee!

I've been to a lot of places. Mostly when I was a kid.
I'm from Belgium myself, so the majority of countries I've visited are in Europe.

    Places I've been
-France: numerous times, especially to the Provence region (near the Mediterranean)

-Italy: I've been there several times, my mom being obsessed with the country (she even speaks Italian fluently). I've mainly been to the Toscane region but I've been in the north several times as well. As well as in Venice which is in the eastern part and the Trieste region which borders Slovenia. I still want to see the Calabria region (it's my mom's favorite) and Sicillia.

-Spain: Several times. It's a nice country but its been so long I don't remember all that much. We mostly went to campings in Spain. Except for once when we were in a hotal that had a terrible kitchen. Which is a shame cause Spanish food is usually nice.

I also went to Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura, which are islands that are officially part of Spain, but are actually in the Atlantic Ocean west of Africa. The weather was really nice there (it was 25°C during Christmas).

    - Netherlands: I haven't been there much and never on a holiday. Usually just for visiting something. I do want to go to Amsterdam with some friends sometime though.

-Germany: Only passing through there while visiting other countries. My parents say Berlin is really beautiful though so I might go there in the future.

-San Marino: It's an independent mini-state inside Italy. I really like it, it's basically in the mountains and has city walls like a lot of historical Italian cities do. I love how they sell a lot of swords and the lot since I absolutely love swords and katanas (I own several ones myself). In fact I bought my very forst sword there

-Switzerland: I went there a lot as a kid. My grandpa used to own a chalet there so we visited almost every winter (and a few times during summer as well).

-The UK: I only went there once with my two cousins to go sightseeing. It was pretty fun, but the country itself doesn't really intruge me, although I'm sure there are some wonderful places to visit there.

-Andorra: Another mini-state, bordering Spain. There wasn't really much to see there though.

-Cyprus: I was really small when I visited there but I still have some memories of it. Mainly of the pool and a huge starfish we caught at the beach.

-Turkey: Again I was pretty young when visiting this country. It was before the tourist industry in Turkey became huge so there wasn't that much there. We visited some cities which was nice and a lot of elderly women were obsessed with my sis there cause she had blonde hair and blue eyes. I doubt the people there still react like that nowadays though xD

-Egypt: We went to the Sinai peninsula, at the Red Sea pretty close to Saudi Arabia. We even crossed the border for a bit. The coutry was nice, we did many excursions to the desert, travelld with the nomadic people for a day and visited several cities. There were armed guards at the hotel's entrances though but they were really friendly and you get used to that pretty fast

-USA: I went to Orlando in Florida once. To visit Disney World (I turned 9 there). It was probably one of the best holidays I've had as a kid.

-Austria: I went there a few times, once with school, which was a really nice experience. We did a lot of hiking in the mountains and all of us stayed in one huge chalet. The bus trip was terribly long though.

I've been to loads of places so I think I'll just list my top three and the three places I want to go to.

    Favourite Places I've Been to:
Florida - I've been here three times and done all the theme parks and it never gets old, I just love the apartment/hotel place we stay at, the restaurants are so good and the parks make this holiday so much fun.

Corfu - So my grandparents have been going to this Greek island for 20 years and I've been going with my family ever since I was a child. We usually hire our own small boat and sail around the coast stopping off at different towns for lunch and dinner.

Mexico - I've been here twice and enjoyed it so much, the weather is so good and the people are really nice (I look like a giant next to them). The food is so tasty and I swam with sea turtles in the wild this year and it was one of my best experiences ever.

    Places I want to visit:

California - I should hopefully be going here next year :P

Japan - Nobody in my family wants to go so I'll have to go when I've moved out :(

Florence - It's such an amazing city and I'm sure I'll go here one day.

When I was younger, we used to do quite a bit of traveling. However, once we moved to Arizona... we stopped because of money issues. :c

One of the top most number one places we always went to every summer in Maine was Acadia. That place is so magical and beautiful as well. I have so many memories there too. <3

Since I moved to Houston, I've become a huge travel nut. Constant travel to California, and Baja Mexico to see family.

I also have visited parts of Texas (like Austin and San Antonio), and I've visited Kansas City, Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Chicago once.

I would love to go travel outside the US one day, though. Italy is one of my desitinations, and it is my dream. US-wise, I'd like to visit New York or even Washington, DC.

I used to want to travel around the world, but that interest has dwindled and my fear of flying finally came to me. Having your ears so full of air is really painful. The last time I was travelling back home, I could still feel the pain in my ears at the airport. So, for the meantime, I'm scared of flight.

Oh, and I've only traveled to two places: Hong Kong, twice, for the sake of Disneyland, and a popular tourist site in our country. Good times.

    In the States?

Depends what you like doing. My wife and I are very outdoors-y, rec-oriented when we travel. If you're in Canada, then you're already seen a lot of great Northern landscapes, I imagine.

But, if that's totally your thing (it is mine) then I'd recommend the Boundary Waters on the Minnesota and Canadian border. Brilliant landscape that still feels largely untouched and wild. Love the northwoods. Similar style would be the Adirondacks in upstate New York. Gorgeous area. Also the Finger Lakes region in NY, very unique and a fun tour of the East Coast's wine country if you want that.

Otherwise, see the desert! Go to Arizona. Southern California.

Personally, my next big trip is across the Atlantic to Iceland where my wife and I will be living for two months while she completes an artist residency. Really looking forward to Iceland! It's been a dream of ours for years to go there.

Haven't been to many places but I looove the thought of traveling. So far I've been to Russia several times (birthplace), France for one day since our connecting flight was the next day, Canada, Mexico, Dominican Republic... and yeah that's it. Would love to go to the Nordic countries especially sometime and hope eventually I'd have been to enough places to make proper recommendations.

Only bummer is that I have a plane phobia so that makes the traveling experience more painful. Scarred from my first plane ride alone having the absolute worst turbulence known to man. Luggage was falling out of overhead bins, just thinking about it makes me shudder. x.x

hawaii, new york, connecticut, italy, belize, australia, florida, china, japan, thailand are places I've been. japan was awesome because I was older and had basically freedom to do what I wanted and didn't have to deal with my family. they're cool, but being in a close proximity with them for so long can get us to hate each other pretty quick. hawaii was also pretty fun because my friend's family also went there.

I don't really mind where I go as long as I have a lot of fun. Sightseeing is exhausting for me so as long as I'm with cool people and I have time to rest I'll have fun... maybe. probably :)

I plan on studying abroad in two years but I'm not sure where yet. I haven't decided if I want to study abroad to study language or to study one of my majors (biology). the programs vary differently based on what you're going for.

I used to be pretty scared of flying, especially alone. Over the past few years I've flown more and more though, and starting to get used to it. Statistics is also on our side; compared to riding a car, it's so incredibly safe to fly. I mean, until something happens. Then you're screwed (8 but it basically never happens.

Russia is huge. Is it somewhere close to Europe, or further towards Asia? How do you like it there?

Come to Sweden and visit some time~<3 In the summer, not in the cold dark winter, haha.

I don't travel at all but it's nice to go to the coast sometimes, I live about 25 miles away from it.

Things would much easier if I could afford a car.
