To be fair, "The Egg" is never specified to be a 'chicken egg', now is it? It's just always asked as 'the egg', so technically, the egg would always win in the event there's a creature that can lay an egg faster than it takes for a chicken to exist, regardless of how it came to be there. :p But I like rooster rooting for chicken anyway lol.
