"Ugh, I don't know if I can get through this.."

SV 2nd DLC comes to mind. Didn't really get my interest and I found the objective of 200 Pokémon (or whatever number that was) to catch to be too high. If I hadn't any help, I would have never got there. Also, very small map after you roam there for a while.

X/Y with just finishing the game. I got bored of it halfway through and didn't find the story to be as intriguing. I'd add Violet too but I'm just very slow at open world games. That and I actually enjoy Violet.

I had to drop an emulated run of Shield because Ryujinx kept crashing. Nintendo filed their SLAPP threat to shut down Ryujinx and destroyed all the documentation on how to fix the crash, if any, a day or two after I started the challenge run I picked Shield for, and I couldn't import the save to the family Switch. If there's eventually a fix, I'd like to finish my run at some point, though. I also dropped a Random Challenge run for White 2 because I was too busy with GT planning and other stuff going on at the time, and I didn't get far enough in that run to care about finishing it.

Past that, there were several playthroughs that I didn't end up completing on the GBA/DS/3DS since they only had one save slot and I had to overwrite the save. I also never beat Pinball: Ruby & Sapphire at all because I'm not any good at pinball, or Red Rescue Team, since I had already played Blue Rescue Team and found the GBA Mystery Dungeon interface annoying to go back to.

Legends: Arceus--I was stuck on Hisuian Arcanine for a month, and Hisuian Electrode wasn't any easier.

The only thing keeping me from finishing Scarlet (and accessing the second DLC) is Team Star--they are HARD, even at the "recommended" levels to beat them.

HG/SS, particulary Kanto when everything seems to drop off as far as story, etc. combined with "I already played this in GSC" and "wild Pokemon are ridiculously low levels and there's no decent grinding spot."

The water routes in Hoenn. Needs no explanation.

First Sw/Sh DLC. Excuse me, but DO NOT force upon me some rando ugly Pokemon and then REQUIRE me to raise the thing to level 70 or whatever just to finsh the storyline. Also, look for 150 Diglett? I ain't got the time for that!

I did eventually finish all of the above, but it was not without pain, anger, and me taking long breaks to question my life decisions.

I love most Pokemon games and never find myself having a hard time getting through any of them except the Mystery Dungeon series. I know that's controversial as those games are really loved, but idk. I can't get through them.

I always take a looong while to finish any playthroughs, cus I'm slow and play on and off, but my Emerald playthrough is taking longer than most. Idk man, gen 3 always feel so slow to me, so much going back and fourth. I'm not giving up though :')

I struggle to enjoy the gameplay loop of Legends: Arceus. It feels like a step in the right direction but overall it quickly began to feel repetitive to me. I'm not opposed to the sequel at all and I hope they make improvements. (maybe more than one settlement)!
