That sounds cool. I'd love to listen/watch all that. If its within two weeks, I'm up for it.

Definitely would be keen for this! With Uni hitting a lot harder this year, I won't be able to post as much as I like, but the once in a while Plug.dj OST sessions I can come and stop by when I can. (or well try to)

Indonesia Time conflicts with US Time as well, since we and Aus are only a couple hours apart at most.

Yeah! Plug DJ users, unite!

The problem about anime series is that... well... they're pretty much illegal anyway. We can find some lingering around youtube, but I doubt Chikara would approve. Meanwhile, shorts are... shorts. They usually go around 3-5 minutes long, and enjoyable. Plus, it won't terribly hurt the anime industry, unlike the long 24 minute episodes.

There have been Anime Movie Nights at PC in the past, but I really don't know how they worked or streamed legally (with my timezone I never got to see them, so I don't know personally).

In addition to Oceania and other islands around the Pacific, I know there are also users on this thread in Europe to take into consideration.

But yeah! I'm up for Animu plug.dj shenanigans whenever! OSTs, shorts, and the like. I've been curious about the one in the VIP section of the forums but I felt like I wouldn't fit in with the cool kids because I'd wanna play mostly anime and game OSTs. :3c

There has been movie streaming before? I suppose it stopped because of legal shenanigans?

I've known they've done it before for the annual Get-Together events. Well the ones a couple of years ago around the time I left they streamed Pokemon movies in the those Get-together events, but I wasn't around for the last one so I can't say personally.
 
I'd love to see a Wolf Children anime night. I still haven't watched that movie. Don't ask why I haven't...I just... haven't found time? Anyway, Steins;Gate was a great anime that I probably won't watch again because it gave me a headache from all the time travel stuff. ):
 
I get kinda emotional every time I hear the end credits song for Wolf Children. ;w;
Conveniently the entire movie can be found on Youtube, though be wary that it's 2 hours long.
 
I haven't seen Wolf Children either. I don't really watch any anime movies aside from Studo Ghibli films. Unless you count Interstella 5555. When I feel like it, I'd really like to watch Wolf Children, Perfect Blue and Paprika. Maybe Akira too.
 
Wolf Children is brilliant! - I defs need to have a rewatch sometime. Only watched a couple of Ghibli movies, but Wolf Children, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and Summer Wars... I can't choose which one I like the most.
 
Ah! I forgot that I was planning to watch Summer Wars back then during my vacation. Whoops. Also, I forgot to remind dero about it as well. Whoops whoops.

Wolf Children and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time are amazing! I've always liked Hosoda Mamoru's films. Not to mention he's releasing a new film this year, so... yay! :D
 
Summer Wars is amaaaazing...even if it does recycle the plot of the second Digimon movie. I think that's why I enjoyed it so much, actually!

I enjoyed The Girl Who Leapt Through Time as well, although a very large part of me suspects that everything that follows Makoto's first time leap is actually something that her mind concocted to escape the reality of her imminent demise...like everything from the end of the first disc onwards in FFVIII. It just makes more sense that way. xD
 
I need to watch the digimon movie and summer wars. I have both JUST LYING DOWN there on my hard disk. ;____;

I've seen Wolf Children and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, though, like most people. And, like most people, I love them. They're really well done movies. Both managed to get to me, haha. The latter, especially, is a movie I'd recommend to anyone - even anyone who hasn't ever seen any anime. It is just that good. And the concept that it plays around with is pretty cool, too (time travel never gets old :p).

Really looking forward to his new movie that's coming up. Too bad we won't get to see much of it for a while though :(
 
Well, assuming it's true (which I won't believe until after tomorrow) that's disappointing, but unsurprising. Still, as long as it doesn't pull a Sailor Moon Crystal, I think it'll be worth the wait!~

...and in the meantime, I can watch all the stuff that just aired, aha.
