I'm quite neutral about Unown. It is a nice collectable pokemon to have given its 28 forms and can be a fun time waster. However, I think the games should make it worth it. I remember trying to catch every single Unown in Diamond and Heart Gold. I succeeded in both but I was disappointed that I got nothing from it. Only later would I find out that catching them in Platinum are you rewarded for it through seals. I did not want to do it all over again.

Neutral. Is just a letter. Lacks anything to make it annoying to battle (like Poison Point on other Pokemon). Cannot really like or hate it. Forgets about it most of the time. Barely ever encounters it, to be fair.

Unique concept as they were needed to open the ruin maniacs tunnel in sinnoh and obtaining the capsule seal stickers. Also has lore connected to Arceus. Though, I do feel neutral to it. I can't really raise it to level 100 without pulling out some hairs in the older gens without exp share, as it only learns 2 "moves" hidden power and struggle.

I like it quite a bit, but don't think I 'love' it... so I guess I gotta vote neutral lol
I generally like collecting them, but have never used one on a team.

They could do all manner of things with them... like for example have a dungeon where what paths open to you depend on what combination of 3-5 Unown are in your party (with the box access from anywhere we have nowadays 5 shouldn't be a problem... just leave at least 1 slot for an actual mon for catching/fighting stuff).
The little Unown scavenger hunt in PLA was pretty fun, but did not really do much of anything for a reward.

It's a pity it doesn't evolve into Sigilyph despite it looking like an Unown battleship with a different eye color. Could've like made the 'head' the letter shape.... would required 28 forms of Sigilyph though lol

Funny you should mention, in the ruins of alph it was along side the wild encounters along with natu, coincidence? Probably? Smeargle too, but I think this is no connection. 28 different sigilyph could've made unovas variants, but didn't. Upon further inspection, sigilyph has different eye(s), this wouldn't actually work in hindsight.

It is just a letter... with phenomenal cosmic powers. Reminds me of how hard it is to find the anime episode where Unown V thanks the party for taking care of it by helping them combat Larvitar's trauma.

Funny thing is, I have sketches for Unown 𝛂, 𝛃, 𝛉 & 𝞹 that were going to be part of the group of Unown from another universe based after the greek letters + mathematics, with the blue color being the default, black being the Solar (AKA regular) shiny color & red being the Lunar shiny color. Yet I haven't used them for anything yet, and probably won't until I get at least the Orre Extradex side thing done.

I don't like them, an alphabet Pokemon is an interesting concept. But it's extremely jarring how they're portrayed as powerful / mysterious in the lore while being absolutely pathetic in-game. I wish there was at least a special form with good stats you could unlock after you catch the regular 28 Unknown.

Completely forgettable. "Hate" is way too strong a word for something like that, though. Like PoryKid mentioned, the contrast between their power in the movies and their uselessness in game is wild.
