Chemistry is impossible, Physics and Biology are easy in comparison. I'm actually really enjoying studying Biology at the moment, but Physics is the best.

Physics in middle school/junior high was hard enough for me. I was gonna take it in high school but I needed at least Algebra 2 completed, and I took the class senior year because I had to take an extra year of Algebra 1. :S

Science is one of my weakest subjects when I was in middle and high school, but I had a very fun Physics teacher and he made some of the Physics topics easier to understand.

I was able to pass Algebra 1 fine, but Algebra 2 I barely passed with a C haha.

I've never taken Chem, but I did pass Bio is high school!

I wish I knew where I stood. I aced all sciences in high school (except biology) but did miserably in college (except biology).

I considered doing Organic Chemistry this semester, but since I completely failed in regular chem last semester, I was like "lol nope that's not happening c:"

Pretty much me. I somehow did better in Chem Lab than Chem also which is weird because Lab is the application of your knowledge???

Speaking of Chem, the teacher I got this year is pretty much a stereotypical chemistry teacher that you'll see in movies, but I never thought really existed. Every few classes he has some new explosion to show us, including one where he melted a plastic container and spilled its contents all over the floor, and another one where he blew up a glass container and actually got stabbed a flying shard of glass. Thankfully we developed a healthy fear of his experiments after that and have learned to stay away.
A few quotes:
"We've got these new desks in here now, and I actually don't know if they're fireproof. Let's find out."
"Does anyone have some money for me to burn?"
"Do try this at home."

I've not done any sort of science in yearrrrs...and I'm totally fine with that. I didn't have the best teachers for chemistry, biology or physics. Well, they were better than my French teacher, but they didn't make the subject as engaging for me as some others did so I was never inspired to pursue it. My chemistry teacher was also convinced bird flu was going to kill us all.

I aced in Biology and Physics, but Chemistry was the younger sibling no one wanted. The teacher was just appalling-she never actually taught a lesson, just gave us the past tests to do every single lesson. I'm lucky to have gotten a C, most of the class failed that.
We all started a petition to get another Chemistry teacher, but she found it and gave the whole class a 2 hour detention. This was during exams times, so we could have used that time to revision. I didn't go as I'm such a rebel, she hated my guts anyway

I find all three sciences fascinating; I suppose that's expected being a Biomedicine student lol. Out of the three Physics & Biology are my favourites. Chemistry is interesting too, but it can get hella boring sometimes. Plus, Physics and Biology cover so many different aspects of life and the universe, and while Chemistry also plays a major part, I've never found it that diverse. They're all heavily interconnected anyway so while you're studying one, there'll be plenty of times where you'll also be exploring the others.

High school physics are to university-level physics what a grain of sand is to the Sahara desert.
This cannot be more true.

Also ask bobandbill, I heard he's quite the physicist. :p

Sciences most certainly aren't my forte, can't say I've used much of my science knowledge since I left school at all.

Astronomy is something I'm extremely interested in, I'd love to study Astrophysics at a university if they offered the course.

I used to think every plane going past was a U.F.O. coming to abduct me...it took me years to get over that. xD

Also I don't care what anyone says, Pluto is still a planet. Sailor Moon says so.

I took astronomy before. It's really a hard class because there's so much physics involved. Pack in some patience before taking this class.

As a note, I think Astronomy is a highly underrated science that more people should take interest in (like myself). Space may seem boring to some, but there's so much out there beyond our planet, and that makes studying Astronomy that much more fascinating. :>

If it were an option in Secondary School I do think it would be popular. It gives a better understanding on how everything is made and how it all works

I used to think the milk float that did it's rounds around our close was an alien space ship, and the only way I'd be safe is if I put the duvet fully over my head-I discovered at 13 it was not a spaceship, just an old man and his old vehicle :(
