With that 47% plurality, not likely. As it stands right now, Red would only have to be the second choice of 3 of the 36 voters to take the lead in a head-to-head matchup against only Kris, Dawn, or Serena. I can easily confirm that I'd be one of those three votes in a Red vs. Dawn matchup, since Dawn's my least favorite protagonist in the series, and I'd probably vote Red in a Red vs. Serena matchup as well.

You misunderstood me. I meant a poll of the series vs Red. Not any one protag. So if there was anyone else you'd like better, then Red would have one less point.

Edit: Serena is tying Red on Twitter, if the overall total ends up being closer, I would like to add my voice to the ones calling for a run-off.

Honestly I could go with anybody. I ended up voting for Dawn because I voted for her in the previous round, and my inner child (whose first game was diamond) would definitely be rooting for her to win.

Perhaps _officially_ the winner of the current polls would be the champion (it's the same setup for nigh all other polls in this series), but we still run a couple 1-day-long run-off polls afterwards (top 3, then top 2), just to see what happens?

Firstly: a break will happen. I definitely need it, haha! And probably people do too, and I'd like the social media pages to have other things on it. Plus, we have the GT coming up to distract everyone anyway.

Years back on the twitters there was a good run of fav gym leader, so I'd shy away from that.

I do have an idea of a different set of polls, which may invite more discussion - favourite games in a set. So, say, fave game from RBY, then FR vs LG, and LGP/LGE. Then: favourite Kanto set of games (RBY vs FRLG vs LGPE). Then move onto Johto (G, S, C; HG v SS, GSC v HGSS), etc. It's an idea I'd like to also pair with Daily too with 'debates'. Maybe if I have time on the weekend after other things I'll make a thread on it in there.

Red's winning. I voted for Kris cause Crystal nostalgia. I even went back into my Crystal earlier tonight but I doubt i'll restart it anytime soon. Same with my other Pokemon games. Ah well, Red is winning legit so who am I to say. I wish It was May cause if I WERE to restart a Pokemon game, it'd be Omega Ruby but idk when i'll do it.

I am ironically working on my Yellow as of late, so Red's cool too I guess.

Carried by the power of the forum vote, RED WINS! I imagine not too many people are surprised. He did tie with Serena on Twitter, and both were a mere vote ahead of Kris and Dawn over there. And also in a low turnout, Red and Kris tied on the Google form and had a lead of 1. So the forum is clearly the difference here.



As we had a few requests on it, we'll have two 1-day-polls over the weekend, going by the top 3, and then the top 2, just so people can see if Red can hold out in a one-on-one (Hilda did come very close to beating him earlier after all!). So... who drops out?

Well, again, the forum is the clear difference here - Dawn (who just snuck from the semi, remember!) is the clear last place here - anime power isn't always enough! So it's Red, Serena, and Kris.


And if you have other thoughts about polls (this series, future ones, why I'm smelly, etc), feel free to voice them!
