I'm looking to get the pseudo-legendaries done ... I think you don't have Tyranitar, Garchomp or Hydreigon done? I'd be down for any of those!

Something I was wondering, can I have my stats in a third party website (say github pages) and link to that in my Stats Thread here?
The full control over JS and CSS makes for a prettier and more featureful experience (like filters, and roadmaps! specially since tables hate me).

As long as it is easily known how many points you have, what Pokemon you have and how you got it and what Pokemon was used for what (ie. Legendaries.)

Be aware though, if the external site is down at the time of processing an obtain request, then we may not be able to do it until it's back up!
Also something to think about: people occasionally leave for a little while, and then come back later, even if we don't plan to. I think it would be advisable to have a basic text back up in your stats thread for both reasons. You could always put it in a spoiler tag if you don't want to see it! That way we still have a record on site. It would be greatly appreciated by numbers providers :)

Curious how other people use their shiny VPP's? Do you set any shinies you get aside for the 'Shine Bright Like a Diamond' challenge?
The point reward and their rarity for it seems worth it imo.
I currently have 2:
-a shiny aurorus I was originally gonna use for the 'Ancient Times' challenge.
-a shiny Vivillon (Monsoon) I got as my first Master VPP, which is part of 'Vivillons Of The World: Version 3'.
I got these 2 in fairly quick succession and fairly early on, so Initially I thought I'd just use them for their intended purpose. However, I haven't seen a shiny since and I now think it's probably better to reroute them to 'Shine bright Like A Diamond'. For the aurorus this is not a problem, there are plenty other fossil mons I can raise instead for it's challenge. For the Vivillon (Monsoon) it would require re-raising one though. Not a huge problem, but something to keep in mind for me.
So like said, I'm thinking of rerouting the 2 shiny VPP's I have to the shiny challenge and wondering how the other people here handle their shiny VPP's ?

Interesting question!
I have often wondered about other people's mindset regarding this, especially when I've handed out prizes for challenges completed using Pokémon that I would personally have saved for a different challenge!
You asked about shinies. I think I had 30+ shinies before I completed the Shine Like A Diamond challenge, simply because I used those Pokémon elsewhere!!!
The way I prioritize challenges is something like this:
Legendaries get used for the Legendary Master challenge, no exceptions, shiny or otherwise. They are just so hard to raise to waste them on anything else.
Next in line are things like Mega, G-max, and one time challenges such as Brock, Misty, Normal Kids etc.
If I get a shiny of a Pokémon that I have earmarked for those challenges, then it still gets put towards that challenge. I have completed all the one time challenges now anyway, so this is kind of a moot point, but that was how I done it the whole way through.
It is the same story with just about any other challenge, EXCEPT multi time challenges. I always prioritize one time challenges and SLAD over those (except for the special cases already mentioned).
If I have a shiny Abra for instance, and I'm not using it for a one time challenge, then I would put it towards SLAD and NOT Gone Mental if that makes sense. The way I look at it is that I can raise 6 random same type Pokémon at any time, but a shiny is much harder to come by!

I've been setting aside my Legendaries for the legendary challenge too =p I ain't wasting them on anything else xD With the restrictions in place for raising them and them taking longer than normal VPP's, I wouldn't even consider using them for anything else xD
Same story for regional forms. I currently have an alolan Ninetales, given the point cost involved for getting a regional form I ain't wasting it on anything else and have already set it apart for the alolan forms challenge. Imo anything that costs a lot of points to obtain, I should keep aside for their respective challenges. Which would also mean Megas and G-max pokemon. Fossils are a different case imo because the cost is considerably lower.
So anyway I guess I was thinking similar then. Neither the Aurorus nor the vivillon is hard to replace, so I'm better off using them for the shiny challenge instead =p

a quick question: the above I quoted from VPP advanced just means Fancy and Poke Ball Vivillon are not part of any of these challenges right? I can still ask for one and just use it for something else instead?
Wondering what typing they would have too? Just the normal Bug/Flying?
(since the others have their form determined by their added typing)

Wondering if there's any point in waiting any further tbh. I did poke her in VM on her profile at some point, but she hasn't logged in yet to even see it so....
On the one hand, I don't want to cancel the tag team. On the other hand, it doesn't seem like she'll be returning.
Currently I intend to wait out the month and if she still hasn't even logged in I'll probably cancel the tag team if possible.
I don't even mind waiting a couple months if I actually get a message saying she'll be back later. But with no notification whatsoever, and then just randomly disappearing, I have no reason to believe she will return.

We are in the process of updating tag-team information regarding inactive partners.
You are not able to "cancel" a tag team unfortunately, you will have to at least finish your half no matter what happens.
Your partner has currently not been inactive long enough to trigger the inactivity clause. I will keep you informed :)

Vivilion Fancy & Poké Ball patterns are actually listed under "Collectable Pokémon". I missed that, sorry!
So I'm afraid you can't actually raise those two after all. I have amended the FAQ to reflect this.
