this topic is exactly what the title says it's about! do you drive? what kind of car do you own? if not, what's your dream car? i'm autistic and one of my special interests is cars and i love learning and seeing the different kinds of cars people own/want to own! i think it determines a certain type of personality for people depending on what kind of car they drive.

as for myself, i currently own a 2012 dark gray chevrolet impala! it has about 70,000 miles on it or so. feel free to talk about certain specs of your car if you want, or maybe post some pictures! i'm on mobile at the moment but i'll probably edit this post later with a picture of my car.

also i apologize if this post is in the wrong board or if theres already a post similar to this one!

No, but I wish that I did, boo. I've been nagged about this for a number of years now, but why I haven't applied for the tests ultimately boils down to money. Maybe when I get a paying job, I'll consider learning to drive, but for now, walking and public transportation suits my needs.

Does public transit count? I live in a very walkable city with a half decent (I will admit, even though I curse it everyday) public transportation system so I never bothered with a car. Sometimes I think it would be convienent, but only for a few scenarios that really don't happen enough to warrant me having a car.

I used to have one, a few years back. It was tiny & yellow and I called it my bumblebee. I miss it sometimes tbh.

yeah, i've been driving for almost 3 years now and i love it! i drive a skoda citigo and it's a great compact car that drives really well, the only downside is it's 3-door which can get annoying after a while if you're picking people up or whatever. dream car is aston martin but £££.

I do drive. I love driving. My job is driving. My personal vehicle is a 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis LS, named the U.S.S. Cranberry Time Machine, that has a 4.6L SOHC V8 that produced 220 HP and 265 lb ft of torque when it was new, which is mated to a Ford 4R70W 4 speed automatic transmission with overdrive which sends power to the rear wheels, and has a 0-60 MPH time of 8 seconds and has a top speed of 118 MPH. My work vehicle is a 2014 Thomas Saf-T-Liner C2 school bus with a 6.7L Cummins turbo diesel I6 that produces 260 HP and 875 lb ft of torque which is mated to an Allison 2500 6 speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels. It gets from 0-60 MPH eventually and is limited to a 62 MPH top speed. The school bus is named the Bebop.

I can drive but I can't drive legally without someone else with a full license in the passenger seat. One of the things I really need to sort out once I'm better is to make sure I still remember all the road rules and go pass the practical test lol.

I currently own a 2004(?) white Holden Zafira which is basically a soccer mum car. I was able to get it for free from my Aunt and it's really easy to drive though, so I don't much care that it's not particularly cool. Of course it also catches on fire when you drive it now, so I'm looking to trade up.

    2010 Ford Focus.
But I'm preparing to get either a 2015+ Jeep Grand Cherokee, or a Hyundai Sonata.

Actually, I don't drive... and I probably never will. It makes me nervous, and there's a shit ton of reasons why I'm unable to do so. If I could drive though, I would love to get my hands on a black jaguar like in this video:

    Tom Hiddleston included. <3

oh man my parents had a car that caught fire while driving... that was the end of it

they called it the "Pickle" because it was a green minivan and my dad was driving it when it caught fire. Its still a funny story today because he called my mom screaming "THE PICKLE'S ON FIRE THE PICKLE'S ON FIRE"

and now my mom uses the word "pickle" in place of cuss words

also i have a license so thats how i drive to work and I work late so using my parent's car isn't an issue.

    Skrt

im getting my dads old 2001 toyota Avalon this year when i get my license. im hyped. im gonna deck it out with an updated system so i can connect my phone to it via bluetooth and i guarantee im gonna be blasting migos all day

Got my license on my 21st birthday. I drive a 1997 4-seat Toyota Rav4 (mini-SUV), I would to get an Audi sedan but I don't make that kind of money.

Since I was a junior in High School, I had a used 2006 Chevy Cobalt in red. I loved that car.

I recently got a black 2017 Hyndai Elantra, which I also love. I miss that cobalt, though.

Yes, I do drive, I passed my driving test on last December.
As my first car, I own a 1995 Fiat Cinquecento, a small city car.
I'm almost sure that 99% of you doesn't know this car since it got mainstream pretty much only in Italy in the mid-late 90s, It's old... but it works and that's what's important. ;)
