You're right! Didn't think of that one. In the first generations there was the additional balance the three types were all special based, but since Gen IV that's no requirement any more, so it would work.
But poison has always seemed a little underpowered to me.

27.

Fairy Type is awesome, but they missed the opprotunity to make Normal super effective on something. >.>
yesssss Poison typesssss

Normal type is inherently useless for a reason - every pokemon can learn a normal type move, even magikarp.

So, just because my Water-type can learn a Normal-type move, it makes the entirety of the Normal type useless? In that case every type is useless since all pokémon can learn moves outside their type. Another thing, the Normal type is supposed to be versatile: there are a lot of useful Normal-type moves and Normal-type pokémon learn a lot of moves, not just limited to the Normal type. Also, type matchups don't decide a match every time, it's a lot more complicated than that.

31

Number skipping ugh... but the one thing you need to know about Normal-type is that it's considered the most neutral of all the types because it has no type advantages other than learning diverse attacks of other types alongside their own type's moves.

I find Normal-types really cool, they're not the most interesting of Pokémon but there are some really awesome ones. Pokémon like Chansey, Miltank, Furret, etc, are all really cool Pokémon and Normal-types are always so cute ♥

36

I know I only used a Normal type so I can have an HM slave.

37

They are normal. I only like abnormal things. Normal types are therefore b o r i n g

I still think Zigzagoon and Linoone are too freakin' cute. And Pidgey. Don't get me started on bird-themed Pokémon haha.

Oh, and I think this is a more accurate representation of Ozzy:

Spoiler:

jk bud pls don't ban me

Also hi, sorry! I haven't been around much since life's just been a puddle of SSFKFDL; and wanting to cry but that's not a story that should go here so ONWARDS HO.

My favourite normal types are Furret and Porygon2! Furret's the cutest whilst Porygon2 reminds me of one of those bath rubber duckies. I think a lot of people find normal types bland though and it's just like 'nOOO' because they're really cool. Rats that can shoot flamethrowers, ice beams and thunderbolts? YES

41. I generally love Normal types, but I use them so often it gets boring sometimes. I try to avoid using Rattata in gen I and II nowadays for this. XD And I usually just give them their usual level up stab moves, the only expectiosn being a Raticate I transfered to Sapphire from FR once and gave her Blizzard and Nevermeltice, along with a Clefable in a randomized nuzlocke of FR with Blizzard, Shock Wave, and Water Pulse. 'w'

42 (aka the answer)

I love normal types! They're one of my favorite types. I've found normal types tend to have some really fun strategies to use in battle. STAB/Life Orb/Fake Out is a classic. Having only one type weakness is pretty nice too.

There are many cool normal types, aside from many birds, I like Snorlax, Blissey and Tauros for example. Normal may not be super effective on any types, but the type also has only one weakness, which is unique.

Inverse battles is a different story. In that format, Normal-type is unresisted by pretty much everything, but is only super-effective against Ghost. Doesn't help that sneaky trainer Inver has a Snorlax which acts as his "god" Pokemon in his inverse format.
