    DLC. When Nintendo released the 3DS, we finally got a handheld console that could do more than just being a machine to play games on. Where the DS was rather limited in its capabilities, especially when it comes to internet connections, the 3DS went even one step further in allowing for updates for your favorite games, while also allowing for adding new stuff to enhance the experience those games provided.

    That also applies for the newer Pokemon games. Or does it not? GF stated, they don't want to create DLC for their games. At the same time, however, the online communty seems to be split between two opinions: those who don't want DLC for their Pokemon games and those who would be more than willing to buy new content so they can have even more fun with their games.

    The question is: would you like GF to create DLCs for the games? If so, would you be willing to pay money for it and how much would you spend? If you're no fan of that, what would you like them to do, instead?
     
    I would use DLC if it ever becomes available, despite what Game Freak say about the fact they confirmed they will never distribute DLC for their games. I feel especially for those who wanted a Battle Frontier in OR/AS, if only DLC were a thing... but sadly we can only dream about it.
     
    DLC would be a great way for Nintendo to make legendary Pokémon available, instead of the lazy "magic portal" method we've seen in ORAS. It would certainly be easier than waiting for your favorite legendary to become available for download through Mystery Gift. Also, if Battle Frontier was ever a thing through DLC... I would be all over that.

    I think that's the only DLC I'd care for unless it's something else that's really cool.
    But then again, it might create a split in the community with people being able to buy their way to advantages in the game and I'm not sure I'd want to see Pokemon go down that road.. which is kind of what a lot of games do nowadays.
     
    As long as they give us the meet of the game, yes. I dont want DLC to have to face the Elite Four, even if the game is really long. And no more than 5 dollars, because I highly doubt the DLC is equivalent to 1/8th of the game.
     
    I would buy DLC in a second. I'm always a fan of new content and new stuff for Pokémon would be 100% welcomed by me.
     
    DLC I would pay for: Ballerina outfit for trainer customization.
    Formal evening gown for trainer customization.
    Floral print dresses/skirts for trainer customization.
    Various color tights/leggings for trainer customization.
    Top hat and monocle for trainer customization.

    Anything else... not worth the money IMO.
     
    It would be cool as long as it's free. I don't want Pokémon to go in the direction you should keep paying to get everything. I would be really disappointed if it did.
     
    Yes I think they should do it! I would buy it. This is an interesting topic.

    I would want to see a small story, maybe a story where there's a man chasing Mew and you got to help him or something like that. I would prefer it if it was free and not paid. I also wouldn't like if Pokemon went that way.
     
    Yeah I would totally buy DLC if it was offered. As long as they don't hold back content from initial release just so they can offer it later but I'm sure this is the kind of thing they're against. The sort of thing that would be cool is maybe a new island that you could travel to with rare Pokemon or extra post game activities. I bought some of the DLC for Gates to Infinity and was happy with that.
     
    I would love free or cheap DLC, I just wouldn't want them to get carried away with it. Though, the Pokemon event giveaways are arguably DLC already...

    But potential expansions? More areas? A potential extra region? New Pokemon simply DLC'd in? That all sounds like it could be really cool.
     
    It would be great if the Pokémon has DLc. They don't need to be a complete update like certain games out there. Something like exclusive and commemorative outfits to download for XY, perhaps like Dawn's outfit and hairdo?

    Perhaps even updating the teams of Elite Four in XY, as well as battling some familiar faces in Battle Chateau and adding new modes for Battle Maison.
