This could be a specific hard section in a game, finally gettinng that last collectible that was hard to get, getting S rank on every single level, beating any Dark Souls bosses, and so on and so forth.

For myself, I just reached 200,000 GamerScore the other day, as well as beating the last boss in Hyper Light Drifter that had been kicking my ass as of late.

I got an EX Rank on Normal on Stage 5 of the Dawn Arc of Fate/Extella...after doing it THREE times. The first time was for Artoria and I had to do a lot of running around, so I wasn't surprised I took too much damage, but the second time...fucking Cu Chulainn would not leave me alone so I could clear every sector, and I think the game glitched on me because I couldn't find the Aggressor in the last sector, despite the map clearly indicating it...

...third time was the charm. I needed to do it for a Mystic Code, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered. Not looking forward to the Very Hard stages I'll need to clear with an EX Rank...although at that point I will be using an overpowered Nero Claudius or Artoria Pendragon, not a Level 18 Altera who handles almost as poorly as Tamamo did.

beating any Dark Souls bosses, and
    speaking of which...

I beat Soul of Cinder in DS3 for the first time yesterday

Actually playing like a LEM and consistently win 1vX's in CS:GO along with hitting consistent AWP shots without whiffing in between.

Before I always had terrible games where I never got going and now it all the pieces seem to pick up and come together... Supreme soon? ;)

Hm, I did raise my rank in Splat Zones in Splatoon 2 to S+(3), which is is kinda of a big deal for me. Splat Zones is my least favorite ranked mode, but its the one I do best at for some reason. For Rainmaker and Tower Control I usually fluctuate between S and S+.

Also been playing FF: The 4 Warriors of Light and beating Arbaroc definitely felt like overcoming an obstacle. What a pain in the ass boss! Even worse that you're fighting him in with two of your characters being turned into animals. -_- It took quite a number of tries to finally put him down.

I'm surprised it took you so long to get to him. How did it feel when Gwyn's theme kicked in?
Depends on what long is to you--I only got the game about a month ago.

But it was kinda nice that they threw that in (and it makes sense). Sad though that its moves aren't parryable though, parry+riposting Gwyn in DS1 was fun

I just always assumed you had beaten DS3 cause youre a big fan of the series haha. What was the hardest boss in the game for you?

Pontiff Sulyvahn was so bad for me that I had to summon two NPC phantoms to do it after multiple deaths =(
Will probably (hopefully) go better on the next playthrough though, since usually the first playthrough is the roughest.

Oh god, don't feel bad mate: I've played through the game like...five times in order to 100% the game and he was still the biggest son of a bitch that I had trouble against. He's fucking brutal. I need to go back and play the DLCs for the game. I started the first one but never finished it. What do you like to run with?
Getting myself to play through Nier Automata a second time so that i can play it through a third time to unlock the true ending.

Why do you need to play through the game three times in order to get the true ending?

Because that's the way the director made it.

You get new stuff in the second playthrough (you play through different character's point of view) but you are essentially playing through the same game again.

Apparently the true end is another 11 hours+ of new content, so it is worth it. An obstacle though for sure.

Also I've just noticed that this thread is about having overcame these. I'm still struggling to get motivated for playthrough 2.

ok, glad I'm not the only one who had problems with him lol

I never finished the DLC areas too. Bosses were kind of rough and at that point I kinda just felt like finishing the main story, figured it'd be something to look forward to on next playthrough.

As for stuff to run with....idk. There's all these fun things to play with and so it's hard to just roll with one kind of build for me. What about you though, you got any preferences?

    You'll just have to come back here to this thread once youve overcome playthrough #2! (;

I typically stick to Halbreads/Spears for the most part, so I used the Dragonslayer Spear once I beat the Nameless King (don't even get me started with that guy...) Although in later playthrough said I switched to the Butcher's Knife once I realized how much of a cake walk the Deacons of the Deep were when you get HP back with each successful hit haha.
