Hi, I've searched around for ideas of worth for this Misprint Pikachu EX card and come back empty handed, any ideas of pricing would be greatly appreciated :)
Card name: Raikou EX (should be Pikachu)

TLDR : Omanyte 52/62 with yellow stain in yellow circle I can't find anywhere. Any value? Not fake because it's my own childhood cards.


So I just found a couple hundred cards from my childhood and while scrolling the cards I saw Omanyte and I searched it online to see if it was rare, which it isn't (and I now know just by the circle..), but I couldn't find any with that yellow circle stain thing. Is this of any value? Also bonus picks to evaluate in case this is just a yuky circle card after all.

I actually took it out of the card folder, it's clearly a fake looking at it closely now. Dang I was hopeful of retiring.

So, an aside: just because you had them from your childhood, does not mean they're not fakes. Kids are easily duped into getting counterfeits, unfortunately. Most who collected Pokemon cards as a kid wound up with at least one in their collection.

For Omanyte, that's just a manufacturing defect. Doesn't really increase value unless you find someone who likes collecting manufacturing defects.

Neo Revelations Shining Gyarados has some value, though. About $120.

Yes, that is a fake. That's a holo pattern not used on any Pokemon cards at all.

Curious about these base set water energy cards. 2 of them seem like a brighter yellow then the other 2. The lighting may seem to add this but they really are a brighter yellow. They aren't counterfeit, i know that for sure. Is this what would be considered "shadowless"? Or just printed a little differently? Hope the photo came through.

Ahh.. sorry man but in that condition you're not going to be getting much for that card. It's just too damaged. And actually, looking at the creasing, I'd estimate that it's actually a proxy card. I mean it's a Charizard regardless so it'll sell no matter what to someone out there.. but I wouldn't expect anything more than like $10 for it. :/

Idk I don't see any signs of it being a proxy. Also that's not a crease the card went through the was. I've had this card in this condition for 20 years

That, uh, is a crease, no matter how the card got it. Source: have let cards go through the wash or otherwise get water damage when I was a kid myself.

As Fairy says, it's too damaged to expect more than $10 for it. Shadowless unlimited print run Base Set Charizard aren't exactly scarce.

I recently found my Pokemon cards from what seems like the 90s. I don't want to waste your time with nonholographic cards, so I attached the ones that seem like collectors would want. Some say the 1st edition. I also have some Japanese trainer cards in the Japanese language. I didn't post it though. Just trying the holographic ones for now and a 1st edition Pikachu card.

It's fake. "Bloated" Energy icons ripped from Energy cards, missing accented e in Pokémon, improper spacing in the HP...
