Film What was the last movie you watched?

The Martian (2015)
it's terribly man-dominated; they only really put women in the sensitive emotional/insecure roles and i dislike them for it (although i suppose that's the novel author's fault). but it's still a very enjoyable and amusing movie that can be rewatched every now and then. and the music, ahh.

Toy Story 4. I rewatched the films over my holiday since it's been aaaaages since I saw them. Honestly…I don't like this movie. It doesn't need to exist. It's nice to see Bo get a little character development, but it comes at the expense of literally every other character in the film asides from Woody, and the ending is very unsatisfying. Considering the third film had one of the most perfect endings to any trilogy I've seen this feels even more like a gratuitous cash grab than a proper film.

…and fuck those two stupid carnival plush toys, god. They're worse than those two stupid cars in the second Transformers film, and I never thought I'd find characters I dislike more than those two.

Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. I have finally come to see The Empire Strikes Back
as the best movie in the Star Wars franchise, I think it just works the best dramatically, even though it's grimmer than first one, I appreciate this more watching it as an adult, than I did when I first saw it as a kid.

I also recently came to this revelation with the 2nd Godfather, after preferring the first one for years. Now I think I think #2 is the best.

I went to see Respect on Friday. I love soul music and was expecting great things... it was ok. There seemed to be a lack of direction and some pretty poor writing, it felt like a sunday afternoon TV movie. I guess it might not be aimed at me, since I know Aretha's story already. I'll give it a 5 or 6.

If you like Jennifer Hudson though, give it at least one watch :)

[PokeCommunity.com] What was the last movie you watched?

A pretty decent action movie. I like Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Woody Harrelson, and Band-Maid's cameo was a real treat.

bad channels (1992) directed by ted nicolaou since i watched terrorvision (1986) a few nights ago. i was surprised by the post-credits scene for dollman (1991), another movie by full moon pictures.

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982)

It was real good to see again after some years. I might have to watch it one more time tonight before I return this rental.

R.I.P to two talented actors Ricardo Montalban and Leonard Nimoy. I miss you both.

Free Guy (2021) - went to the movies yesterday and it was a pretty fun movie I suppose. Loads and loads of references and cameos but they felt natural for the most part.

Wasn't expecting the socialist revolution in the end, but hey, I'm not complaining.

It's actually a movie that gets better with repeat viewings believe it or not.

I really enjoyed it the first time, and when I got the opportunity to see it again, I thought "this is the kind of movie that will have very poor repeatability once you know what happens" so I was expecting a boring watch.

I was very wrong and I've actually been back to see it again since then! I discover more each time!
