The entire Kung Fu Panda series has just been one major movie after another- the story was amazing, the characters were amazing, the settings were amazing, all the scenes were amazing... With some movie series, the first one is great but then the sequels are not as good- this series however just continues to be major.
Opposite opinion. The dialogue was fun. But this was the least standalone Deadpool movie. I think I preferred Deadpool split off into doing his own thing.
I understand they had to fit him into the overall MCU eventually, but my brain struggles to sit there and piece it all together. Especially when I did something like watch Loki on release, and fail to remember aspects when they start introducing the concepts into the movies.
A group of us have gone hard on watching a lot of animated movies, after we started watching all of Satoshi Kon's works. This I've watched a lot of times and loved it every time, this one included!
Decided to start an MCU run-through again a couple of weeks ago then life happened and I didn't make it past the early Iron Mans. Tonight I decided to pick it back up and watch Thor.
Very underrated film in the series imo. It has it's problems but is generally good fun. I was quickly reminded just how good Tom Hiddleston is when he stole an early scene without even uttering a word. He was simply born to play Loki.
I watched Melancholia and I was a bit underwhelmed, to be honest? It felt like two different movies stitched together for no reason, where the first was a mess of incohesive ideas and the second was just kind of meh. The cast did fantastic though, really no notes on that.
Was too tired after work yesterday to turn my laptop on and just sat on the couch and randomly watched a movie that was on: Stardust. Pretty decent movie.
Feel like that wall separating the 2 worlds was rather... underwhelming though xD
