What would you name your band?

    If you were starting a band, what would you name it?

    My band's name would be The Orchard Kids. HBU?
     
    Well obviously I've made many lists about band names even though I have no musical talent whatsoever. I don't have them any more, but I remember me and my friends wanting to start a band called badgerfaces. Because whilst performing we would all where badger masks, naturally. Then we realised none of us could play any instruments a part from one who could play half a song on an oboe.
     
    My dad and I used to come up with cool band names all the time together. Some bands he was actually part of and played in included Happy Accidents, Hellstrum, and Ash of the Mind, which IMO are pretty good. Happy Accidents was my childhood and I shall never forget~
     
    Bleach Yourself is the only name I can think of right now. There were others, but I just can't remember.
     
    So here's "Matt's-embarrassing-post-of-the-day"...

    My friends and I made a band back in the day of middle school. A joke, techno band mind you. We had a Myspace page and everything. The name of our band? GoGoKittyKatMeowMeow...*sigh* yes that was what it was called. It wasn't supposed to be serious or anything, but we actually did miraculously get a gig at a local venue. We didn't go though, considering we didn't have a plan on how to perform except possibly dance around a lone computer on the stage.

    Would probably call it Leaning Towards Solace.
     
    Failed Institution

    The majority of our songs would be about marriage, government, and banks.
     
    Basically my coworkers and I have a running joke about what could be band names. Basically anytime we say something weird it turns into a band name. There's too many to fit into an un-spoilered post. I tried to take out all the REALLY inappropriate ones, but there still might be some weird ones in there so...open at your own risk.

    The Amazing Spidermen

    We'd only sing about things in New York City, wear only Spiderman costumes, etc. After a year we'll gain infamy for refusing to allow women to join the band. We will then allow a woman vocalist in and change our name to "The Amazing Politically Correct Spider People" and sing about things that are not politically correct..like the KKK.
     
    Dying Willow was one of my favorite band names. I thought it sounded cute. I also like Pretentious Murder.
     
    In Rock Band 2 my band's name was BuoyanC (which I thought was cleaver at the time.) so if anything I'd go with that. When I made the bad I made up they were an emo/pop-punk band but really "BuoyanC" sounds more like an indie rock band or electronic/synthpop band name to me now.
