  • I could spout a whole list, but that wouldn't achieve much. My favourite individual musicians are Slash (Gun's N Roses) for guitar and Myles Kennedy (Alter Bridge) for vocals. My few favourite bands are here:

  • I got tons of bands I love, but I'm gonna talk about the one I'm listening to right now, that I'm guessing none of you have heard of.
    Wesley Willis.

Wesley Willis is the King of Cult Rock, the Elvis of Chicago, the Daddy of Rock and Roll. His music was unique and very, and I mean VERY simple. His songs were basically rants. Each song had three verses, he'd rant one verse, say the songs title four or more times as the chorus, do verse two, repeat the chorus, have a instrumental break, do verse three, chorus, and end the song saying "Rock over London, Rock on Chicago" then say a commercial slogan like "Wheaties; Breakfast of Champions." The funny thing is all his music (with the exception of his music with his band, The Wesley Willis Fiasco) is done on a keyboard music track.

Normally one wouldn't see much, but he gained a cult following quick, and I honestly believe he was one of the biggest fans and stars of rock. I have never seen such devotion to Rock. And what makes him so awesome and funny was the sad fact that he had chronic schizophrenia (demons talking to him in his head).

He wrote songs about his friends, places he had been, bands he had seen, his joy rides and hellrides, him kicking a superheroes butt, someone screwing him over, criminals, romance, and other amazing stuff. So simple as I said, and yet so artistic.

Look him up on youtube. I will go ahead and give the explicit warning, his music is NOT intended to be heard by little children, especially some of his songs written for his demons (like "Suck a Cheetah's Dick"). He can be very vulgar, and just plain weird. But if you don't mind, look him up. I'll just laugh as you react to him.

  • Green Day, Fall out Boy, Utada Hikaru, Rie Fu, Slipknot (I don't know WHY I like them...I just DO! XD)

Green Day were the proper band I liked, I only started liking them because everyday for about two weeks my mum played their "21st Century Breakdown" album whenever I entered the living room. XD

  • I gave up music and guitar playing a couple years back, but when I did listen to it, my favourites were Creed and Megadeth. No freakin doubt about it. Although their genre is different, both of these bands are perfect in their own ways. Creed has a very beautiful sound and most of their songs have a message to accompany the tune. Megadeth on the other hand well need anything be said on them...these guys are the best composers. Ever. I think Marty Friedman is just the best guitarist ever to set foot on this earth.
