It actually wasn't just one, but a bunch of them. I actually had to merge/delete a few topics myself, so we decided to make a general announcement about it (although it makes me curiously hungry for lemons ;_;)
You know, if I was on staff I could always help out.

Nah, just kidding. I usually look through threads before I post a new one, so hopefully you never have to merge/close any of my threads.

Goddammit now I want key lime pie too.

Haha, sorry! :P

I actually would have preferred key lime pie, but no one else in the house will eat it, so no point in making it. But now I have a solution -- share it with the internet instead!

I ate key lime jell - o and it was the most glorious flavor in the entire history of Jell-O

So to get back on topic, anyone else enjoying the new 3DS home menu? Not the NEW Nintendo 3DS Menu-Well okay they're the same but you know what I mean-but the way the icons are now in the center, themes and what not. I hate that its now a 2-step process for them, much like all the games/apps on the grid, but its nothing gamebreaking. Surprised to see that they sped everything up again, but its probably the last upgrade thanks to the nN3DS. I'm also assuming the way everything is handled is cause the 3DS/Wii U are now Nintendo's testing ground for getting as much parity as possbile between the OSes before going for one universal one. Pushing the limits and what not.

why do you hate key lime pie you have no soul

I do like the addition of the themes. Gives us something nicer to look at than the plain and boring original menu screen. I'm just waiting on them to put out more themes. There's not a whole lot of them right now and none of them really interest me.

Black would have beem perfect, but the aliasin becomes apparent, and the weird pixel border on the battery and signal icons is awful.

The black theme is the best theme. :P
Maybe I should check out the theme shop once they get more themes up.

I'm really disappointed at how.. ugly the Yoshi theme is. I guess it was just too plain for me, but Yoshi is the best, it should have been cuter. :c

The LoZ one is nice, though. I jumped on that one... even though I'll likely grab the Animal Crossing bulletin board one, too, when it comes out. :P

Maybe muffins can't eat pie.. almost sounds cannibalistic, y'know.

What? What do you mean icons in the center? I don't see any difference. And what 2 step process?

Also I would not recommend buying any themes til they add a way to turn off the theme music. I have Luigi and dear god it it insanely loud and annoying if I just want to idle on the main menu. >.<

Hello users at the Video Games DCC! I'm new to this section. Anyone giving video game suggestions here? :P

My system is a Laptop and I prefer First Person Shooters!
Well that's certainly quite the combination.

In that case, you can't go wrong with the 2000 Deus Ex. Human Revolution's pretty fun, too.

That said...what kind of FPS' do you like? What are your current favorites? That'll make them easier to recommend.

And there's Doom! Tons of user made levels, updated engines all over the place, it actually has quite an impressive community for a game made like 20 years ago.
