5th Gen Will you still play the Fifth Generation games?

Sun and Moon will be here in less than a fortnight. We've gone through a whole other generation since we first visited Unova, and now we're entering a second one. Will you still be heading back to Unova? Or have you decided that you're going to not bother until Fifth Generation remakes in about five years or so?

And have you been playing the Unova games in the lead up to Generation VII? Have you even played them since the start of Generation VI? Why / why not?

Absolutely! I still think the gen 5 had the best art style of any of the games. I really enjoyed exploring Unova and I think the games are quite well-paced.

I'm sure I'll come back to gen 5 some time in the future.

most of the older games I have get replayed at some point, sometimes multiple times (have played through Ruby/Sapphire 5 different times over the years for some reason lol), gen 5 games will be no different

though idk if I wanna restart my Black 2 file, I completed all the PokeStar movies with good and strange endings and I don't wanna delete that =(

I will play the Gen 5 games when i feel i want to challenge myself By either using one type pokemon only or breed previous pokemon from other games and hatch they're eggs and send them over to a Gen 5 game it's quite fun.

eeeeehhhhh honestly i was never a fan of BW really. The region is beautiful and I do like a lot of aspects of 5th gen but it was almost unplayable given the levelling difficulty. I'm still trekking through W2 for the first time but it's really on and off lol

Yes I will, 5th one is my favourite. They had the best storyline out of all main series games, who can forget that skyarrow bridge and Castellia city.

Yeah, the gen V games have excellent replay value! I'm actually thinking on to start a new save on Black and then move onto White 2 once I have completed Sun and Moon.

I do love this generation and I would love to play it again, but since I'll be getting Sun & Moon soon I'll have to focus on that for a while.

I really love the 5th Generation and am currently playing the White post-game after a recent play-through which was pretty fun. This Gen is really iconic to me for some reason and I'll no doubt be exploring Unova again before the remakes are out.

I don't think I'll actually play them because I'm really stubborn and don't like erasing my save files of such nostalgic games for me... But maybe if I get the courage, I'll do it.

But even if I don't, as corny as this sounds, I'll still be revisiting them in spirit. Gen 5 is my absolute favorite and the games really mean a lot to me.

I wish it was possible to send Pokémon from Gen VI to Gen V. I'd love to curate a team and play through White 2 again, knowing that they'd have some competitive potential at least when it's over.

I doubt I will ever play White again. I found it to be quite tedious. I will, however, think about playing White 2 next year if I have the time.

Seeing as they are my favorite, of course. Until we get the inevitable remakes, I'll be sure to play the game from time to time when I burn out on Gen 7.

Yes!! Gen 5 is definitely my favorite generation overall, and though Sun and Moon does look pretty awesome, I haven't seen anything that makes me believe it'll overturn Gen 5 as my favorite. Even if it does, I'll probably keep playing B/W/2 pretty often!
