    What is your favourite gaming genre?

    There are many different types of games out there. We are spoilt for choice in what we want to play, depending on the console/PC that you have, but still spoilt none-the-less.

    What is your favourite gaming genre?
    What do you find yourself playing the most?

    I think RPG wins by default, if only because it's so poorly defined.

    I find myself playing RPGs and FPSes nowadays, usually RPGs because Xbox Live has an honest-to-god horrible online community.
     
    RPG I ahve spent a lot of times on.
    My all time most played would be MMORPG but that isn't on the list, I spend easily 5-6 hours a day on MMORPGS.

    So I will go with RPG as I play a lot of demon souls and Final Fantasy
     
    right now i'm playing a lot of action based games like League of Legends and Vindictus but i love fighting and shooters too. driving and music when i feel the urge. the only game i don't really play is puzzles, i like challenges but i like the feeling of solving them by actually doing them, in other words, i like challenges as long as i can kill things to solve them.
     
    It's RPGs, though the quality has been steadily declining over the years.
     
    My favorite? Simulation games. When I get into the mood, I can literally sit 24+ hours in front of my computer and play games like The Sims and Rollercoaster Tycoon. However, as I said, I need to be in the mood, and there's kind of a lack of simulation games that fit my tastes (this kind of makes it seem like it shouldn't be my favorite, but it really is. Especially because I've gone through 23 generations in The Sims 2, and the entire town is made with members stemming from my original family).

    As for most played, I'm going to have to go with RPGs. As it's my second favorite genre, and the one with a bigger abundance of titles that fit my tastes, I just find myself playing them more.
     
    RPGs are my favorite, but mostly the older ones. Like Icebloom said, the quality of the games is steadily declining.

    I like a lot of Adventure/Action, a bit of Fighter, and occasionally some Shooter. :)
     
    Space sims; if you ever wanted an example of a dead genre, I suppose that's a good one.
    I've otherwise got a lot of strategy games and some FPSs, and then some rather unique experiences.

    Sports

    i am more likly to play violene games but like SOME calm games
     
    Funny question to ask given the nature of the forums =P. Naturally enough, RPG's got my vote. Purely on the basis of familarity (at this stage nothing is new in RPG's) and storylines.

    What is your favourite gaming genre?
    I love action, adventure, and shooter games. It makes my brain work, and think fast when I need to. With that, it can apply to real-life skills.

    What do you find yourself playing the most?
    I find myself playing action games the most. My collection of games are most action.
