In Gen III as a kid, I'd usually choose Torchic and beat the game using only it. I'm choosing Mudkip this time, and spent months breeding a shiny to use. Giant pink beefcake. Yes.
I'm excited for whatever changes they might have made to the game- and it would cool if I'd be able to make a more...
Huh. Violet was the name I always used when I played, which was about 60% of the time, as a kid. I dunno why I did, though :/
I think that Peyton would be best for males, personally, and for females either Violet (lol), Keiko or Usagi. No need to use generic canon names :p
I think the best...
I dunno. Pikachu DOES have a pikachu-exclusive power-boosting item and the anime voice inserted into the game. It doesn't really need any more pandering- if there is a mega, it should go to Raichu, who, despite being the evolved form of Pikachu, never receives any love.
I'm on my way, I think... I want to complete it someday >_>
What do you hate about the Battle Maison? For some reason it feels more agreeable to me than any of the past incarnations of the battle tower, though only marginally less frustrating. :S
I don't think it would make sense to put skates on the d-pad. The entire point of the skates was to allow for unrestricted movement against the grid-like tile system that the game employs, and with a d-pad you still only get the 8 directions you start with.
I agree that they should be optional...
I think it would be really cool to give the eeveelutions some mega forms. That, and of course, filling out the rest of the starters like the should have done from the beginning (do we know, by the way, that they haven't? has anyone like gone through the code yet to see what is and isn't there...
My birthday was 3 days before the release of the game. Glad to see I'll have a bit of a wait before I can experience this :P
(Ewww I'll be an adult then D: )
I personally am in support of this. Casual players who don't know about/don't take it too seriously might easily never even come across a shiny- I know I haven't- and otherwise would be lucky to find one on the way in the game (which would still, for the casual player, be an amazingly exciting...
According to Smogon, it deals psychic-type damage, and it will only affect dark type pokemon, who won't be affected because it's psychic damage.
I wouldn't be giving special attacks of non-dark types to an Umbreon in the first place, though.
I guess I shouldn't say anything since I don't know for sure, but I'm pretty sure that you can't, and that it only works if the Pokemon has two standard abilities, and it will switch between them.
You chose shiny Espeon? D:
To each his own but I really dislike the green
I think I prefer practically any other shiny Eeveelution, except maybe Jolteon
You all are too lucky. >_>
I think the odds are higher though, as my friend bred a shiny Noibat after only about 50-60 eggs, and I...
If I get lost in it, I somehow manage to make it up to at least 250
It's really relaxing, but kind of disconcerting to pass 999 where it caps and just keep going and going and going and going and going
I got Pokerus shortly after the first gym, randomly. I think the odds definitely have to be higher, or I'm certainly suddenly pretty lucky :p
It doesn't seem to affect Super Training, though, which I've gladly switched to for EVs, and I don't know the EVs that any Pokemon give, so it's been...
I preordered Y on Amazon moooonths ago, since they did a great job at getting a game to me day-of-release with Skyrim. Less than a week ago I learned they hold Pokemon to a different standard, so I decided instead to go get it day of release when I visit my boyfriend in Canada. That way I can...
