I can't do my thing if nobody's letting me know

As a very quick briefing (I guess):
-> Last day there was a bandwagon against Cosmic. To defend himself and stay alive, he posted a list of usernames who could potentially be Lycans. His estimate was based off a keyword ("night") used in both Klippy's and Lawli's first posts in day1 (both were confirmed Lycans). People were hesitant to believe him, and a no-lynch ensued. At night, Cosmic was killed by the Daemons and was revealed to be the Were-something that was converted to a Daemon.
->This day, most people are willing to give a shot and believe Cosmic's list and are starting with eros (I think?).
->Also, Christos had been revived by Candy, with her thinking that Christos had stalked and found out the user behind the "Werehyena" role which puts Candy's team at risk. However Christos has not blatantly stated whom he had stalked before dying. He simply voted for eros as well.

The rest is up for us to figure out where to go from here. Personally, I'm on the fence. I don't really agree with the choice of revealing that much information about a former team. Although it was Cosmic's attempt to win (or stay alive), so I can't blame him (mainly because what he did was not against the rules anyways). And even though some people here may think this list is "silly" and nonsensical. I think it has some merit to it.

While I am still undecided, I'm going to leave this here [BURN] No one.

edit: As a side-note, the fact that the Dae's no longer have the Incubus means NLing is bad for them... right? Or am I missing something?

that's one more person on cosmic's list that is a lycan too, and wizardman11 saying it's a bad idea to lynch eros means it's likely he's a lycan as well

sure some people may have said "night" in their first post by coincidence, and lycans weren't forced to say the codeword anyway so it's not all of them, but I think most people on the list are actually lycans

I wonder if you people always put so much faith in a list that was designed by your enemy. Sure, yes, Cosmic could have listed out the were-fellas with his post, maybe that was his attempt to stay alive. But we don't know that for certain. It's day three, are we really still in the phases where we base our claims on a list of hints given by our enemies? Yes, it's true that this is the closest thing to an obvious hint that we have... but what does it matter? You all seem to be forgetting a very simple aspect to this little conundrum.

That aspect being Lilim.

So we're wiping out the lycans one by one... but is that really the best choice? We're tossing away players whom MIGHT be our enemies, but we can't fully destroy the lycan faction now can we? Even if Cosmic was telling the truth, Lilim was converted and is a Lycan now, s/he would have literally no clue whom Lilim is... in reality the demons wouldn't either, right? Lilim could literally be any one of us, unbeknownst to any faction. Even if everyone on the list is a lycan, the lycan faction cannot be eliminated completely using the list because Lilim still exists. That means that there's at least one non-leader lycan on whom is not on that list at all, so it might be worth doing some actual investigation in the future.

Also, what if not every name on that list isn't true? There's a perfectly valid chance that we end up accidentally killing a large number of our own havenites because we're following the assumed and unlikely to be 100% accurate ramblings of a dead man.

Christos just confirmed that Eros is the werehyena, which means I'm a-okay with killing him right now, obviously. But we should be careful as well... blindly putting faith in this list is a dangerous game to play and will do us more harm than good. I say we do some decent research into each individual and watch them carefully... but bw's are bad in every game, especially this far into a game. So I'd advise against those in the future.

Since I guess the undead are on our side now (?), I'm willing to believe in this judgment.

Since we have that confirmed and out of the way... perhaps we should turn our remaining time and attention to logically finding extra incriminating evidence for the remainder of folks on the list?

I think Deceptio has a good point though. Our response to this should be a bit measured, since there's of course no guarantee that everyone on Cosmic's list is a lycan. Still, after eros, I think we should at least try one additional name on that list before we decide whether or not to write it off.

All the sporadic faction changes make this a lot more complicated though, I have to say @_@

to be honest, i find it hard to believe that eros is the werehyena... i don't know, first Christos refuses to say who it is, and once the bandwagon for eros starts rolling, suddenly he comes out and says it was in fact him all along? seems fishy.
nonetheless... i admit it definitely looks like eros is a lycan, judging from his attempt to erase his tracks and edit the incriminating bits out of his earlier posts. i really don't want him killed this early in the game, but this evidence is the only we have to go on, so...
