Not tried yet, but Darkrai as the 20 Years celebration download was disappointing, came with some really weak moves! :(

Some people knew Darkrai was coming in advance because of the datamine leaks for it alongside with Scizor and Empoleon. That makes 3/4 of the empty slots filled, which raises one important question: Which Pokémon will fill in the fourth and final slot of the character select screen? My suspicion is that Namco is reserving that slot for an Alola Pokémon, so all 7 Gens are represented in the game.

Darkrai woo! I've watched tonnes of Pokkén Tournament videos whilst I've been unable to buy it myself and I'm pretty hyped to see what this guy will be able to do.
Does the game not get updated often then? I was thinking of buying it recently but the limited character selection feels a bit meh, especially if it isn't being updated much.
It's had a couple of patches but no DLC yet. Code for Darkrai, Empoleon and Scizor have recently been discovered in the Wii U version so with this announcement things are looking promising!
I don't know, because I believe the game was released before Sun & Moon were announced but then again they could surprise us even if I don't think any 7th Gen Pokemon revealed so far fit the style of the game.

There's still Rockruff's evolution, which could have potential as a Pokken fighter (thanks to Suicune). We're also missing a Rock type in the roster, so it fits the bill.

Not bad! It's somehow ironic that Darkrai is added to a fighting game because it's weak against the Fighting type.

Darkrai is gonna be the most Technical Character (Im only saying this due to some details leaked) He's Specially Based on Planting Traps To weaken the opponet and they are supposed to help you get to NNightmare Mode (After Dark Void) Where Darkrai gets a huge buff and all his traps get better effects and he just gets stronger straight as far as im concern when playing against Darkrai... Just dont get touched lol.

He's already been released in the Japanese arcade version, but we don't currently have a Wii U release date. I'll post in this thread the instant I get a date.

Darkai is most likely coming after Worlds the reason im saying this is because they probably dont wanna change the meta when their biggest tournament besides evo is about to happen so im highly expecting darkrai after Worlds is over or maybe they might announce it after grand finals like guilty gear did at evo.
