One thing I respect about the alola anime is it doesn't have a crazy fan base like amour shipping ended up with.

    One amour shipper had the nerve to ask me to unbann him from my forum just so he could FLAME a GOOD FRIEND of mine for liking pearlshipping -_-;

Why in my right mind would I ever help such a person. Some of those fans are out of their minds....
I know right, a lot of Amourshippers are quite toxic.

i should really change my name, because everytime i see flame i think people are talking about me
I know how you feel. Whenever I here the name Jack in my college, I always think people are talking about me.

  • why not aerith?

i mean.. she died, but still

It's strange considering my usual taste, but I just like Tifa a lot more. I'd prefer it if the creators stuck with the original idea of having her properly dressed though, haha. Aerith came off as a bit too forward and flirtatious to me, which is a personality I kinda clash with.

Plus, Aerith x Zack are just so adorable together. <3

  • I also work weekends. .__. Pretty much why I don't really look forward to them a whole lot.

On the bright side, hopefully my weekdays would free up a bit more since I'm going to be working only weekends soon!

That's basically my schedule now! The only gripe is trying to align your free time with other people. So many jobs are in the Monday-Friday schedule.

  • It kinda sucks tho that I can only buy one brand of shoes

Like New Balance is the only brand I know of where wide width is actually wide enough for my feet

When was the last time you checked with multiple shoe vendors and let the employees measure your foot so they can help pick the right shoe for you? Have you tried using the internet to find shoe brands that sell wide shoes and search for stores that have these brands in your area? Have you considered ordering your shoes online or ordering them in person at a store if they don't have the right size in stock?

I didn't pay anything to study 6 years at uni and get a bachelor and master. I will be paying off my hefty loan for the next 25 years though lol

I don't like the Monday-Friday schedule because I have classes and working and going to school is taking a toll enough as it is for me, I'd rather not make the problem worse by working and going to school back-to-back; it becomes stressful. x.x

  • i've learned over the years that id much rather have weekdays off than weekends off because i might have important things to do and businesses have wonky weekend hours (and most of them are closed sundays) while on weekdays i can just carry on with whatever without any issues

Definitely! And I also hated bank holidays back when I was living in the UK for this exact reason too. It felt like every time I was waiting on important documents there was a bank holiday or two lurching around the corner making the (already ridiculous) amount of working days for whatever it was for even longer.

    my weekends are sacred
    saturdays are holy to me.
i Love having No Plans at all on saturdays.
Despite having to study, this Saturday has been lovely and relaxing so far. I kind of like my life.

  • Speaking of studying, after eating lunch I should probably get back to catching up on my cybersecurity homework AND studying for my router exam on Tuesday... x.x

I don't know what a weekend is anymore because of where I work. My business is open 365 from 10am-2am. Most of the craziness happens on the weekends with all the parties we have.

I hear you, I dunno what a weekend is either. All these people tell me "Stay strong, the weekend is close!", and I'm straight up just like "I don't have weekends anymore, but I'm sure it'll still go fine LOL". They look at me apologetically, but honestly I'm not fond of the idea of always working five days in a row just to have the weekend off. None of my friends do that, so there would be nothing significant for me to do.

  • My ideal shift would be Fri/Sat/Sun and just have Mon/Wed off with Tues/Thurs dedicated to school. That way, if I'm falling behind, I can at least use the other weekdays to catch up. :o
