Undoubtedly the best new ability of the generation is Magic Bounce. It's ridiculously good and essentially removes the need for a Rapid Spinner, meaning my Starmie is now free to be a complete sweeper.
After that, Moxie looks VERY good. I haven't trained any pokémon with it yet but I can't...
I don't quite understand the mechanics of White Forest but all I know is that every time I've entered mine there has just been a few trees. Not one single patch of grass. Or water.
I used mine on Zekrom, although I regret that now.
Kyurem was difficult to catch but I got him eventually.
I caught Thundurus fairly easy though. Got it down to 1HP (False Swipe) and put it to sleep and it went straight into the ultra ball.
I dunno if anyone likes this idea but most forums I've seen have a thread where members post random thoughts so I thought why shouldn't PC have one?
I'll start:
I love how much better Flareon is this generation. Guts, Facade and Flame Charge are all VERY helpful.
It might be of interest to y'all that there are 2 moves, known as Freeze Bolt and Cold Flare that are in the data of B&W but no Pokemon are able to learn them.
Both have 140BP and 90% accuracy. Both are ice-type but Freeze Bolt has a 30% chance of Paralyzing the opponent while Cold Flare has a...
Well if you go by competitive use/tiers.
Smogon has Empoleon and Infernape locked firmly in OU while Torterra is in UU.
Competitively Infernape probably has the edge.
Yes i've encountered it.
When I was training my Bronzor in Platinum, every time I would encounter another Bronzor I would use Imprison. It had the same moveset as the wild ones so I stood by and watched as they struggled themselves to death.
I cheat to get event only Pokemons. And any other Pokemon I can't aqquire in-game.
Also, 999 Heart Scales and Master Balls. Heart scales are handy and master balls just remove the hastle of having to weaken Pokemon before you catch them.
But I only use cheats after i've completed the game.
Sinnoh suffers from the fact that it was a great concept was was poorly executed. All the areas in it that had potential to be amazing (the main plot, Mt.Coronet, the legends) just didn't work out right and that meant what could have been the best generation so far is really just a "meh" region.
