  • Not by the sound of it... Eh, I decided I had to put EO4 and EO Untold away finally. They're actually starting to drive me nuts. They are good games, but I'm tired of getting killed all the time now in BOTH of them.
Well, I redid my skills and my party's surviving somewhat better. It's just hard to do anything post-ending because everything's overpowered. I may end up putting the game away for a bit so I don't frustrate over it. I love it to death, but I'm getting a little tired of constantly seeing the "Game Over" screen whenever I just trapped against a monster I know I can't beat. There's actually a level cap in this game of 70, which is supposed to be lifted once I start beating the elemental dragons. But, that's extremely hard to do, even when I go in fully prepped.
Yeah, I have played a lot of games like that before. The only thing that makes it weird for EO4 is that that game consistently pits you against monsters that are already heavy hitters, so attacks like the Great Dragon's Inferno don't really need the power boost since it's already powerful to begin with (even when I bolstered my party's fire resistance with element-weakening equipment and my spell-caster's Rune spells, which increase my party's element resistance while decreasing the enemy's resistance). I think I may have to redo my party's learned skills to better accommodate a defensive strategy against these monsters, which the game surprisingly allows me to do without having to add new characters.
You don't want to be around me, then. I can get really mean when I want to.

Also, guess who keeps getting his butt kicked by EO4's superbosses? THIS GUY! :P The game's post-ending content is extremely difficult. Even when I think I'm getting close to beating one of the game's notorious "superbosses," they suddenly use an attack that wipes out my entire party. Figures that said attacks are on the lines of the Pokémon move Reversal, wherein they get exponentially stronger the weaker the user gets.
Good to know! I've been working on a bunch of it already and I've got a good chuck of the prologue down but man, it really takes a lot out of you haha ^_^
Well...I guess I'm a little confused at how exactly I would classify what I am writing. Essentially it's using the concept of a specific anime -i.e. the type of setting, end goal - but it has it's own unique plot line and characters. Does that technically make it a fan fiction, role play, or something else?
Wow, I get that a lot actually, especially in recent years. It's just joking, remember, so don't take it too personally.
*whacks face with his notebook* ...You really don't get that joke...? People say that to me all the time on my birthday. :P
