Hello Sam, I hope you've been keeping well and had an absolutely magical Valentine's with Shawn! Thank you for your lovely PMs. :) I miss our talks. There's so much I want to say! Sadly i am still too overwhelmed to really devote my time here, though I try to come online for leisure when I can. I long to catch up with all my friends! ^_^

I start the first day of my undergraduate degree tomorrow. I'm studying Early Childhood Education. :) If there's any advice you have to give, I'd love that. Being home-schooled, I've never stepped foot in an actual school before, so I'm at a disadvantage with knowing what to expect! But the children will be worth it!

And I see you've taken Off-Topic under your wing! Congratulations! I can tell you're already doing wonderfully with those creative (and heartwarming!) threads. :)

I'm doing well. I've been sick unfortunately.

For Galar...no I didn't really enjoy the story. It was generic and I didn't feel any investment. I have one rule for story and it's that I need a reason to care about the world before they start introducing the crisis. (Or make me care about it during the crisis). Galar didn't do that at all and the world felt like a straight path almost the entire time. I started mashing A through the story segments because I couldn't get invested. Actually a big problem with the story is that there wasn't a story most of the time. Many times they told your character "Leave this up to the adults" and so you continue battling gyms. It's a video game...that's the last thing you want to hear. It was fun because it's a Pokemon game, but I have no interest in the DLC. I'd rather just replay an older game. And I'm strongly against this being paid DLC. I'd rather have a full game that has side stuff with DLC as an option, not DLC to get a full game. This might sound complainish but I didn't feel happy with this game, which is a rare instance for me.

I gave my swirlix an eviolite with the move cotton guard and it was defeating entire gyms on it's own just because they couldn't damage it. This is probably my new favorite unevolved Pokemon and probably the most memorable team member I've ever had. I did recently replay Ultra Sun, I found a shiny swanna which was cool.

That picture is very cool, and thank you so much for sharing. I'm checking out the video right now, and honestly I'm not too big on working with my hands. Actually I want to get into the psychology field, which is quite the opposite. And I'm so glad you liked the video.

Oh, it finally arrived! I hope you like it, sweetie; I got an espeon plushie to go along with the Umbreon plushie I sent you sooo in a way, they're like brother and sister! Once we unite, they can reunite too. I figured it's be kinda cute in a way, yknow? Teehee. I remember how much you like caramel too sooo I got you those chocolates as well. And ah, those scented sticks I hope can help you to relax during the night time too! One of the many things that helps me sleep is a good relaxing and pleasant smell, so I hope they can do wonders for you. But I think they're nice in general so feel free to give them a try!

Oh ah, it's a room downstairs, but I get a kitchen and bathroom all to myself. Basically all the essentials! It's not too noisy, and it's pretty warm, so sleeping at night is t a problem either. My new house is smaller than the last but it's cozy! Itold you about my new space right? It's pretty relaxing; got my own bedroom, bathroom and kitchen as well! Everything is pretty great! The neighborhood has lots of shops, and there's a school nearby. I want to explore more after it gets a bit more warmer though~

Just wanted to say your PM brought tears to my eyes, Sam. :') I'm glad that PokéCommunity has someone like you to count on!

I started playing Pokemon Sword a couple days ago. I'm 4 gyms through. The game is paced quickly since sometimes there's only one or two routes between gyms. I wish there were more side activities but it's still fun. I caught a Swirlix which I began to love because it's cute, but was devastated to find out it's a trade evolution...I might actually keep it unevolved since it's cuter. Also feel free to post a picture if you want, I'm interested in seeing the Mimikyu. And this might sound dumb but I'm not sure what a crochet is. In my head the word sounds like string or yarn art.

Yes I'm okay. My mood has went down since they left but that's normal. Some other family members took me to a water park which was fun. I went down the water slides and other stuff. And I should probably post more but most nights I'm content with just browsing.

Sarah is a very kind and caring character. She never judges Rose even when she was a (for Team Magma) ill fitting Aroma Lady. Whilst not as elegant as Rose she is quite creative and she is well liked by her. The next chapter of The Rose of Team Magma is up. Rose spends some more time with John and learns more about her new Pokemon.

Even though I use a computer for my job I am not very good at repairing or rebuilding them. I find writing fan fiction quite relaxing. I remember you saying you had two fan-fiction ideas, one of them being Archie's Daughter.

The starter Pokemon you receive at the start of the game is Shiny locked. However a shiny starter Pokemon can still be obtained by breeding. I obtained a shiny Sobble in 171 eggs by the Masuda Method with the Shiny Charm. Shiny Sobble is a calming blue with a bright pink crest. The blue darkens as it evolves. I have evolved him into a Shiny Intelleon which has an eye-catching colour scheme including pink crest and eyelids. It's a great Shiny.

Tsareena is quite Lilligant like and some called her Alolan Lilligant when she was revealed. She is a physical attacker with a less sweet personality than Lilligant. In the anime Mallow's Tsareena has been shown wearing clothes such as an apron to help her trainer cook. Tsareena was my main Unova Pokemon and I have used her a lot in Shield.

I have had an enjoyable time playing through Galar. My Team when defeating the Champion was - Inteleon, Tsareena, Apppetun, Mandibuzz, Copperajah and Galarian Rapidash. Max Raids are good fun and a good way to get strong Pokemon. The main issues with Sword and Shield are the removed Pokemon, short post-game and some frame drops in the wild area. I still think B2/W2 are the best Pokemon games overall but Sword/Shield are still good games.
