Hey Zel! I have some ideas for Pokémon ShinyGold and I'd like to see if you like them :)

•I'm kinda sure that you are aware that Blue has a sister called Daisy, right? You should give her a bigger role in the game, not just grooming your Pokémon. This is my idea: after you beat Red, you go to Oak's Lab and one of his Aides runs in saying that there's a Salamence destroying Viridian Forest and attacking Trainers and Pokémon, in FrLg a NPC says that Daisy can calm down any raging Pokémon so as you expect she goes to Viridian Forest to calm down the Salamence. When the Aide tells Oak about the Salamence and Daisy he calls Blue and hurries to Viridian Forest and you (obviously) follow them. At the forest you and Oak see the Salamence about to attack Daisy but she manages to calm it down, this relieves Blue and Oak but then Jess and Jamie ruin the whole thing trying to catch the Salamence, which upsets it and goes wild again and sends Jess and Jamiw blasting off. Daisy tries to calm it again but fails, then you battle the Salamence and either catch it or beat it (right, like anyone would decide NOT to catch it) after the battle it calms down and Daisy thanks you for everything, so do Blue and Oak, they give you an item. The Salamence's moves are Dragon Claw, Dragonbreath, Crunch and Fly.

•After you beat Red, he stays home with his mom until you beat the E4 again, then leaves home and returns to Mt. Silver until you beat him, then he returns home.

•Maybe sometimes you could find Blue at his house with Daisy.

•Why not making Blue's team Yellow-based? Alakazam, Magneton, Alakazam, Ninetales, Cloyster and Umbreon. Umbreon because Gary has one in the anime.

•In Pokémon LiquidCrystal, after you beat the League for the first time Brendan (the RSE protagonist) appears in Elm's Lab and battles you, how about putting it in ShinyGold? His team is Swampert, Aggron, Shiftry, Camerupt, Swellow and Grumpig. His levels have to be HIGH! He's the Hoenn Champion!

•How about putting Leaf somewhere in the game.

•Jess and Jamie or Ashlee robs the Viridian Trainer House but Cal comes from the basement and beats the living hell out of them/she with his Meganium, Typhlosion and Feraligatr. The levels of his three starters sould be 70.

•You should make a scene in which Silver confronts his father (Giovanni) and wins.

•It would be cool if you could fit a Double Battle against Red and Blue somewhere.

•How about a reference to Coolboyman's Rijon Trilogy? Like and NPC in Vermilion City who says he/she is from Rijon?

Ah...so you're the mastermind behind "ShinyGold Version"! I actually heard of this hack before I joined PokeCommunity, but never actually read through the hack threads dedicated to it on this website.

I actually was planning to try out ShinyGold upon my completion of FireRed Version (which I actually own in its official cartridge format from Nintendo). Thankfully, this wondrous news came out from Nintendo and Game Freak. I actually got HeartGold and Platinum this past Christmas, but I have to wait until I get a Nintendo 3DS to play them. T_T Still, I'd still like to try out your ShinyGold hack someday, particularly because of its touted quality, it actually reaching completion as a hack (IIRC), and to delve through the extra content you added, such as the Hoenn Pokemon, who I am quite familiar with (I've replayed Emerald's Battle Frontier like heck). But yeah, aside from my brief dabblings into Pokemon Stadium 2 and the Johto Journeys/Johto League Champions/Master Quest Pokemon anime, exploring the Johto region in videogame format will be a whole new experience for me.

In conclusion, I anticipate trying out ShinyGold at some point after I finish with Emerald, FireRed, Platinum, HeartGold, and "Gray", and excellent job on having moved forward towards/achieved ShinyGold's completion. :) A shame that you're going to be inactive, but good luck on your gaming endeavors, as well as playing through Black/White (if you've gotten one of them, that is. I'd hope that you got HeartGold, at least :cer_laugh:). Come to think of it, do you have any thoughts on HeartGold/SoulSilver and their quality in compared to GSC?

I have read it, and yeah, I can pretty much feel the same way as you do, zel, but, I have this feeling of responsibility of finishing the things I started.

Yo soy del Atlético de Madrid... estamos luchando para entrar en la Liga Europa el año que viene, estamos empatados con el Sevilla por la última plaza (la 7ª... y podríamos ir por delante si el ca**** del árbitro no le hubiera anulado un gol a Messi por vete tú a saber qué razón en el Sevilla 1- 1 Barça del finde pasado). Esta semana jugamos el derbi contra el Madrid así que doy ese partido por perdido directamente.

I guess I'm kinda getting inactive again, dont I? Well, that's probably because, I have to admit, that I'm still more interested in other games than Pokemon (age must have something to do with it :P), so unless I get a sudden interest in Pokemon again, this is how often you'll see me around the community (like, one or two times per month), basically because I still care about checking how everyone is doing. But, in terms of rom hacking, it's difficult to do something that is supposed to be a hobby, when you are lacking interest in that hobby. I wonder if that's understandable.

I just wanted to let you all know a bit about my current situation. It may change in the future, or maybe not. But I'll show up and write about it if it is necessary.

Unbelievable! You have no idea how famous and mysterious and legendary you became in the approximately 3 year period you were gone... We all had our own theories (some of the more depressing ones assumed you died in a horrible accident). I visited from time to time here, and almost every day someone would plead for you to come back, or else say how much you were missed... It was pretty crazy, really. Throughout the community you're still recognized as the most popular hacker to ever grace this forum...

Anyway welcome back, and I hope the long awaited (really, really, really) long awaited Beta 6 is great!
