yeah, I honestly cannot believe I've pretty much overlooked hinata's need for attention/important roles until now. I just kinda brushed it off as a "main character in a shounen anime" type thing, but hinata is by far a pretty rare case, I'd say. I'm so curious to see where this new greed will get him.
I'd kinda love it if he gets a bit arrogant... well idk. but I think you know how I am with this stuff, since I did say I was really into the idea of pearl being evil, haha. I feel like the fandom would lose its **** if hinata turned out dark or something though.

and omg yes, I've been using kageyama's team player tendencies to shut down any comparisons people make with him and sasuke. I've been seeing it around quite a bit, which I laugh at, because there's little to no basis for that, lmao. maybe if people looked past the broody exterior they'd realize :-P

though tbh if "both" was an option, less people would be conflicted, haha. I think it's hard to choose one side, since what you said was on point. that's exactly what made it difficult for me to choose any side, because it's easy to argue for/against POVs - to a certain extent, of course.

for hinata, I'm going to say that I didn't think he was being too greedy, because imo a team can only get you so far. you have to be able to branch out and so things independently as well, so it was good of him to take a step towards that. hinata decided on a terrible time for that though, so I have to agree with kags about that. definitely.
and I have to say - what I find interesting is that hinata seems to be taking the more self-centered position, with kags being more of the team player here. I bet the initial reaction would be "who would've thought, huh?" but if you think about it even more... this was always true.
I swear to god, this came to me in the middle of the night. worst time ever.
