I totally know what you mean. The size is huge, and certain people fit in better than others. I would be terrified of going to a school with 10-something-thousand students in my grade! There are many options for schools that you want to pursue, but just have a list of a bunch of them and visit so that you can get the feel and narrow down your choices to just a few. It's been working so far, so it shouldn't be that bad!

Wow, that's awesome! I have a letter of rec secured, and I have one that will be secured and another that I am waiting to hear from. Your activities from 10th-12th probably matter more than 9th so don't worry if you skip out on a few minor activities because it will just waste space on your sheet.

My colleges seem to be up to either a 4 hour car ride or a 2.5 hour plane ride haha! I'm sticking with stuff more northeast, while I might have a chance at one of three schools more southeast and perhaps one or two midwest. You really have it good if you're close! The areas some of these schools are in are absolutely amazing for internships and opportunities for service or just to have a night out on the town. It's just amazing and I can't wait :D

Brag sheets are easy, as long as you're organized and have a good recollection of your entire high school career (something held seldom). Even if you forget, nothing will be too important that it will single-handedly ruin your app. I just hope I get everything down from all 3 years, it's been a wild ride!

Was Central Intel really good?! IGN took a big dump on it, but they did this for Grownups 1 and 2, and those two movies are probably some of my favorite things that were released within the past few years! I'm glad that you saw it and told me, I'm gonna try to see it now!

No problem, I just spent 16 hours in a car and went to see two places. I totally lucked out on weather and the personnel that I met with at the schools, because they have seriously influenced my decisions for the upcoming app process :)
