hi :D long time no chat

heyy long time no see! How's life?

I've definitely been sick much less the past +year. Must be all the lack of interaction with other people. :v

I see. Yeah, this year has been fairly restricting in many ways... haven't been able to go out much myself (and I had a whole bunch of trips planned originally, work and otherwise, last year). Hopefully things will improve in due course there.

That's good to hear. Money and freedom are certainly pluses! What sort of extra freedom do you have now then?

watching the Sun & Moon anime made me love Incineroar lol T_T now it's much higher on my list. but kitties!!!!

for what it's worth, i sunk 800 hours into it, but a large portion of that was shiny hunting, haha. did so much egg-hatching this generation compared to any other before. @_@

i understand the hesitation, though. haven't really touched Shield much since Crown Tundra was released. played a bit of it, explored the new dynamax adventures thing which was ok, but i was just burned out in general of this generation, i think. if i had more ppl to play with though i'd probably get back into it. o:

I guess commuting to work is less risky in carland than taking a bus/metro ride. And yeah I can imagine that studying the same thing you do for work every day can get tiresome.

There's like a thousand stories to tell since we last talked properly but I'm stuck at home, luckily the only health problem I've had in the past year was a tendinitis that doesn't quite leave, just waiting for the vaccine so I can travel again. It gets boring when your job involves covering US and UK politics but you're stuck at home in Madrid lol.
Meanwhile I'm also doing a PhD in applied economics because I'm a masochist and don't want to ever just end with school apparently. Also studying German because why not.

yikkesss are you doing okay??? yeah this dumb virus got me laid off from my job and i cant even take summer classes now and pushed my graduation even further than it should. this year sucks already and it's nowhere near over. .__.
