How often do you play video games?

I definitely played them more back in the past when I had more time/didn't have much else to do besides play. Sometimes when a new game is out I'll play it for a few days before life calls or I just end up distracted and then I end up not going back to the game for a while. I have a lot of almost finished but not games for that reason. So honestly I'd like to say nowadays I have more little spurts of just sitting down and mindlessly playing video games for a while? And then I won't go and touch one for weeks if not like a month before deciding to pick one up again.

  • I've always gone through phases. For a month or so I'll play games constantly and then for the next several months I'll hardly play any at all. It really depends on when you catch me I guess.

  • Whenever I feel like I'm not buried under obligations. :c

Like, whenever I have so much stuff to do, I feel to pressured to play video games, which is kinda weird because I'd like to see video games as a medium to relieve stress, but I've learned that playing games while stressed would just make that stress worse, so I don't.

... If this is more concerning overall time-span usage, then I can go about playing a game pretty much for a decent portion of the day assuming I'm addicted enough to it lol.

  • Me 1994 - 1997: I kinda picked up and put down video games really, I was still a wee babby so a lot more things took up my time.
Me 1997 - 2007: I woke up, played games, went to school, came home, played games, slept. Repeat ad infinitum.
Me 2007 - 2014: Mostly the above but throw in a bit more socialising, however my weekends were basically 48 hour marathons.
Me 2014 - Present: WHAT IS TIME HOW DO YOU MANAGE TO GET ENOUGH OF IT TO PLAY GAMES WUH

  • I try to play every night when I get home to relax, but fail. So only 3 times a week I really get on (to play with friends)

  • Definitely try to play at least a few hours every day; however, here recently I don't get to play some days. Between work and college, free time is limited.

  • Today was probably the first time this year that I actually sat down and played my PS4 for more than 20 minutes. I don't have as much time to play video games as I used to a few years ago, so I find that unless there's a game that really hooks me, I can go long stretches of time these days without playing anything.

Not as much as I wish I could.

School has shit due every day and every time I think about putting it off for a moment to play a game I get anxiety. I'd rather play after everything's done but everything isn't done until like, 10 every night. I've been meaning to attempt to manage my time better but I even put that off.

  • When I feel like playing. I could go weeks without playing and then suddenly play for days. I think I play an hour per day on average.

  • i've got a lot of games i've been playing recently, so i probably play everyday? not so much on weekdays since i started my new job that i have to get up early for. i maybe play like an hour to an hour and a half on week nights. but i mean it's still fun for me and a good way to unwind and treat myself after a long day at work.

  • Years ago i played each game for more than 5+ hours until completed.

I don't play much games since i completed lets go pika. Until i continue zelda and complete it i won't play nothing else. Evrn though it becomes hard to resist to play other games released (Someday i also need to play Kingdom heartsvon ps4 pro the remix version, by accident i uploaded the save file on plus account and i hope the save file is still there)

I used to play a lot when I was at school, I could spend like 5 hours a day playing. But now it's harder to find free time. I don't find gaming so important like I used to think but I sometimes play for 30 minutes. In fact I like gambling on drakemall more because you can win something worthy buying a mystery box it's like buying a new game but without knowing what exactly you'll get.

Typically I spend at least 3 hours a week playing video games. It just depends on what game it is, how recently it was released, how much time I had on my hands, etc. There was a period of time where I had no real life obligations and played animal crossing new leaf for 10+ hours a day.

  • I don't play as often as I used to. I started again recently after getting my pre-owned xbox one, but I don't play as often as some. Most days, even Pokemon has gotten rather tedious and boring for me. I do love video games, but my focus is usually on Final Fantasy and/or Kingdom Hearts... or games that have similarities to them. I also have a short attention span, and I have a strict routine that doesn't always include time for larger console gaming either.
