Post your would like to haves for the upcoming DLC

What the title says. Even though there's a chance it won't be in the game, feel free to share stuff that you are at least hoping to see.

Also try to follow forum rules as well.

For me:

- New non legendary Pokemon. I mean I'm sure new legendaries are guaranteed as shown in the presents, but more catchable non legendaries I'm interested to see.

Take this with a grain of salt, though. I don't think any other generation extension introduced regular non-legendary mons after the original games before. I would just simply like to see it happen.

I mean on the poster for the first DLC on the tent alongside the legendary were a random bear, gorilla, and bird mons that look nothing like any existing creature we've seen before.

- New characters. This one on the other hand I'm actually more urgent over. I mean I think the second DLC is expected to have some, but I hope the first DLC has some new people too, and so far that seems true.

I mean on the same first DLC picture I mentioned earlier there is a woman with long red streaks in her hair and a random dude standing next to the protagonists. I hope those guys are new characters, let alone interesting ones.

- And I'm sure everyone wants this and it's gonna happen anyway but fix some of the bugs and glitches from the original SV.

So what are some things you guys are hoping to see in the upcoming DLC?

Uniforms in different colors. Hates being confined to orange. Severely limits your options. Considers this the worst game for Pokemon clothes customization by a wide margin.

A speed boost for your Pokemon. Tends to not keep up. Perhaps allow them to ride on your bike dragon too?

New evolutions for existing Pokemon. How can you name half the DLC "Indigo Disk", but leave Luvdisc out of the party?

Some kind of battle mode like Sword/Shield's Dynamax Raid Adventure. Essentially requests something focused on battling, but with a twist beyond the usual mechanics. Accepts it with or without Tera Raids being involved.

Agree with everything you've said here. At a squinting glance, the Indigo Disc kinda looks like a paradox version of Wimpod though, but its not. It's just that they both have elements of the same creatures (whose name I've forgotten).

I just want them to fix the box system. Shouldn't have to wait for HOME compatibility just to be able to actually move Pokémon between boxes quickly.

With how the game is based around schools and it seems like the 2nd DLC with the tournament might have character from different regions, I am hoping we get some Lore and an idea of how long ago everything was. Similar to how we got Red/Blue in SMUSUM, confirming that it had been about 20 years since red and blue. So I'd love to see more of that.

Region references. I'd just love to see more, In the trailer, we saw 4 silhouetted trainers. So I would love for them to be the protags or characters we know from other games. One of them looked like Leaf/Green, so I would absolutely love for her to make another appearance. And if they really wanted to, I'd love to see Yellow from the Manga. She is the last trainer we haven't seen in game yet. We also haven't seen Silver in a long time and if we do get a Johto game within the next few years in the form of Legends or Let's Go, having Silver making an appearance would be awesome.

Pokemon not yet on the Switch. With 3DS Eshop closing at the end of March, I'd love to see the rest of the pokemon not yet on Switch make an appearance. Hidden Event Mythics. Given that they've slowly been releasing Event Legendary pokemon into the game since ORAS, I'd love to see the other Mythics make an appearance. Diancie and Meloetta would be a great match for Paldea, especially with them so close to Kalos and there being a lot of dance/music stuff in Paldea. Having Keldeo pop up in Crowned Tundra was an awesome surprise. So i'd love to see it with Gensect and others.

Forgot some more. I'd love them to continue the story about the Ruinous Quartet. Maybe this 'region' we go to is where they are from. It could also be where Kubfu and Urshifu are from. Not to mention there is a Bamboo Grove in the northeast near the Kalos Border, so this could be the land between those two regions, but instead of being directly connected, there is another region between them. So I'd love to get some info about all these Chinese Inspired Pokemon, especially since we also have Bamboo Groves in Kalos.

More Pokémon – This is the main thing I want. If Game Freak doesn't add anything else I list, please add this. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet currently has a serious Pokémon shortage that make teambuilding and countering certain strategies difficult. The most notable aspect of missing Pokémon is the shortage of many Rock-type Pokémon, special attacking Water-type Pokémon, no fossil Pokémon, no mythical Pokémon even hinted or revealed for this generation thus far, and so on. I would simply be much more satisfied with Game Freak adding hundreds of additional Pokémon to catch, train, or transfer.

Battle facilities – Battle facilities have been a staple in Pokémon since Pokémon Crystal. I always used the battle facilities to test certain strategies before battling other players online. Without the battle facilities, I am forced to test certain teams and strategies on the fly against other players online, which can be awkward if I mess up. In addition, I also enjoy them because I find them more challenging than the typical AI without feeling cheap and broken, unlike Tera Raids.

Better clothes – The current school uniforms that we are forced to wear are hideous. Game Freak seemed to attempt to create gender neutral clothing, but instead, they created clothes that look more masculine than anything. I am hoping for more shops that can offer a better selection of clothes similar to Pokémon Sword and Shield and at least more feminine school uniforms such as skirts. I fail to see why the player can't wear his or her regular clothes when not engaging in school activities.

More story content – The game currently feels unfinished. I am looking forward to uncovering more mysteries about Area Zero, the exclusive professor for the game, and exploring the other area as an exchange student in a new school.

More legendary Pokémon – Similar to how the DLC added every legendary Pokémon in Pokémon Sword and Shield, I want Game Freak to do the same in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. The legendary roster we currently have is criminal. I want the chance to be able to battle using my Reshiram again. I spent too much time shiny hunting it long ago for it to be unavailable in future games. I also want them to include at lease one new mythical Pokémon as well.

Okay I looked more into this whole thing. Remember when I mentioned new non legendaries should happen, turns out the new mons I referenced really were new mons. But I was wrong about one of them being a bear, it's actually a dog. I… seriously don't see it. I mean it has bear ears, it looks like one especially on the first DLC drawing, I don't know many dogs on two legs.

And we actually do know some things about the two new characters in those pictures. For some reason, I was hoping they weren't siblings but nah they are. Anything else about them seems all up to speculation.

Now back to the topic: later posts on this thread reminded me that yeah it'll be great if the DLC added more lore and plot. I forgot to mention it because (for some reason) I thought it would only happen in an actual third version or sequel, but to put in the DLC and flesh out SV more I'll take it.

And I'll mention the three new mons for the first DLC again… I still hope those guys are NOT legendary. I'm personally hoping for like the gorilla and dog to get pre evos or something. (I think the bird works fine as a standalone and I can't think of a good designed pre evo for it)

If it turns out they actually are legendaries then… please do not tell me that. I want to speculate things on my own.

Okidogi. There you go. It's right there in the name. Although, I must admit I thought it was a cat at first until people started to link these new Pokemon back to the legend of Momotarou. So, one of my biggest hopes for the Teal Mask is that Pokemon takes their spin on the legend of Momotarou since the four new Pokemon we saw are heavily inspired by this Japanese legend.

I don't really care if these Pokemon are legendary or not. But, since they're inspired by that legend, and are worshipped in Kitakami, I think it's safe to assume they could be. We've had Pokemon that don't look legendary that are considered legendary Pokemon before: Type: Null, Cosmog, Cosmoem. So, it's not impossible for normal looking Pokemon like these to be legendary.

For me, though I just want Kitakami forms of some Pokemon. That'd be okay with me. I really don't want too many new Pokemon in these DLCs as it would be overwhelming for me. I really don't think we'll be getting that many new Pokemon, forms etc as I don't think we'll be exploring a lot of this new place of Kitakami. I don't think it's going to be a huge map like The Isle of Armor and the Crown Tundra were.

My hopes for the Indigo Disk, though is that the legendary for that one has an ability that makes it essentially every single type since, as you can see on its artwork that is has every single type on the disk of its shell. Obviously wishful thinking, though. It'll probably just be a normal type.

I do also hope that the new Pokemon in The Indigo Disk is not just the turtle thing. I think the S/W dlcs gave us about eight new Pokemon. I suppose we can expect around that amount in these DLCs as well. Meaning, I suppose we can expect at least 3 more new Pokemon, I don't know.

The new pokemon were already official revealed, so I am not sure how we can speculate with things already given to us.

While not in the trailer, every pokemon we saw was confirmed by the official Pokemon Site.
Okidogi - which basically confirms it's a dog.
Munkidori - which confirms it's a monkey/gorilla.
Fezandipiti​ - which vonfirms it's a pheasant.
Ogerpon - which confirms it is likely an ogre, so it is hard to take out the idea it isn't Momtarou.

I will say that the three were just called 'Pokemon' and not 'Legendary Pokemon' so it is possible that they are not legendary pokemon and may just be stand alone. But doubting they will have evolutions. They sound very similar to the Pillars in Legends Arceus. (Forgot what they are called)

Also been confirmed that there will be 230 returning old pokemon not in Paldea. (Which includes those that you can transfer and not found in the wild.)

Meaningful clothing options, having Koraidon use its wheels while riding it, and the shiny sound from Arceus. Another thing would be some kind of search function in the boxes to find out which of your Pokémon are XXXL and XXXS without having to talk to the lady and press all the menu options for each one.

All my guesses to what animals the new mons are supposed to be was all before I saw their names.

Still am keen on hoping that they aren't legendaries, though.

I'm hoping for some new Pokemon that aren't legendary. In the SwSh DLC's all the new Pokemon were legendaries.
Some more new normal Pokemon or regional forms or even Paradox Pokemon would be nice.

Also being able to actually keep flying on Koraidon/Miraidon, not just gliding. I'd love to soar around without losing altitude.
