★☆ The Incredibly Wandering Thread ☆★ [v5.0]

I'm excited for the dub to premier on Netflix! I probably could use this time to finish watching the Alolan dub - I stopped right around the USUM arc for some reason. I really enjoyed it though!!

wait, i'm missing something! who is message

Bahaha! I have an insane autocorrect. I wrote Nessa, and it changed her name to message XD this has made my night.

It should be THAT ONE [PokeCommunity.com] ★☆ The Incredibly Wandering Thread ☆★ [v5.0]

I only watched 1st episode of Twilight Wings, mostly because I just don't care about SwSh characters. But I saw some screenshots from Nessa one and it looks interesting.

Anyway, speaking of the main anime, I really like what they are doing with Ash's team. I noticed pretty much all of his Pokémon are Pokémon that he either tried to catch in a past or used them for extended matter of time in a past. He wanted to catch Dratini in that banned episode IIRC, he used Haunter for a while when battling Sabrina and his connection to Riolu and Lucario was shown multiple times in the anime. Mimey also spent a lot of time with Ash and his mum over the whole series. This gives me hope that he'll catch Dunsparce.

Twilight Wings actually has my interest because of the SwSh characters :O
The new anime is greattttt but it seems like we're never gonna really know when/or if to expect non gym-leader characters like Bede, Marnie, and co
although... recent teasers have shown my absolute favorite character from SwSh showing up so I have hope! :D

But until then, I'll probably just use Twilight Wings to sub for my Galar anime needs

I will never forgive Greedent for appearing nonstop when I was looking for a Cherubi in the berry trees in Sword. u_u

Do you people think Pokemon has been declining for the past few generations? (in terms of quality, not sales)

Alola has a lots of great things to offer, but the story never let you explore. Like Hano Grand Resort. It has some of the funniest and wholesome little events like Pikachu wedding or Chuuster and I think there is also Kahili or at least her father, who is owner of the whole Resort. But the game put Faba in your way and you're forced to go to Aether before you can even explore the whole Resort.

But yeah, I think after Alola, it quickly dropped in quality. LGPE are probably the most useless games in a franchise, even more useless than Sun and Moon and talking about ShSw is just sad, especially when you look at Mario, Zelda, Yo-Kai Watch or Animal Crossing and see how they improved going from 3DS/WiiU to Switch.

There's a definite decline in the quality of the games, particularly 6th gen on. I joke that Leaf and Serena are the only aspects of the franchise that keep me involved, but it's not inaccurate. I bought Shield, and it didn't even have the replay value that Y had, let alone Leaf Green or Platinum.

Don't ask me about 7th gen, I completely skipped it.

I haven't touched the gen six games at all in years, but that's simply because I found X/Y the worst Pokemon games. :x But /shrugs I liked S/M and US/UM, I don't think they'll lesser of quality than gen five. They're just more hand-holdy, I guess? I'm glad Sword/Shield seriously cut out that handholdiness that gen 7 did.

I still don't own a single pokémon plushie or figure. Hm. Maybe I never will again; the ones I had are all stashed somewhere back at my parents' place.
