    Question Of The Day #13: Which PokeCommunity style do you use?
    PokeCommunity over the years has been blessed with a slew of talent with it comes to designing site layouts. As such, because there are so many styles to choose from, obviously some styles will be more favored than others for specific people. So, which styles do you like to use and why? Is there specific formatting that you enjoy on certain forum styles that you wish was on the forum style you use? Do you ever cycle through forum styles, or do you stick to a specific one?

    I still haven't found a style I absolutely love, sadly. They all have bits and pieces that I like, but are accompanied by features I strongly dislike. I used Quilava's Glaciation when I first joined, and for awhile I used Caramel Sentret because it felt really homey. I gravitate more towards darker styles that are streamlined and simple now, though.
     
    The style i've had for the longest time is the Y-Axis, the one that represents Yveltal. It really gives my forum browsing more style to it by making the pages darker. I did try to use Color Flattered ORAS for a few days, but it wasn't doing it for me so I went back to Y-Axis. This style is pretty cool, I like the dark atmosphere to it.
     
    Currently I am using The Johto Elite because I logged out and logged back in the other day and forgot to change it back to the one I was using; which was Sky High!. The Johto Elite is set as my default skin as it is probably my favorite of all time. I just love the dark colors, the wide version of it, and the overall design is just perfect. Sky High rivals it though....gahhh it's hard to decide which is my favorite :(

    Also Chromatic is another skin of perfection that I haven't used in a while but always like going back to.
     
    I have used Midnight Misty Revived for the longest time. I like this theme because it's the only I remember using and loving during my earlier years here. I haven't change my layout in a long time, and I don't have any intention in doing so.

    I do like Y-Axis though because I LOVE Yveltal though. The ones I like the most are dark themes because they are easier on my eyes, which are usually sensitive to bright colors, including white.
     
    Even though I love all of the skins introduced by Ashley or Winry or Nick or etc.

    The one I always love and see myself not get bored with is Route 167.

    It was the default style when I joined and tbh it was godsend. Chromatic was the second style I had for a long time but it didnt have the same effect :x Besides, Route 167 is one of the only few old styles that I see are constantly updated with new features, so that's a plus.
     
    I love PC's styles. <333 The three I've used for the longest time are definitely The Stand Nexus, Route 167+, and Forever Standing. Nowadays I stick with The Stand Nexus with varying color accents depending on what I'm in the mood for.

    I also have tahoma set as the default font and have for ages haha. 99% of the time I forget our default is even verdana so I get confused when I see people's forum screenshots. <_<;
     
    1) bring back Forest Grovyle's Legendaries yo
    it was the default skin when i joined and i used it all the way up until it was deactivated in like 2011 or 12 it could probs use a little bit of a polish but it was a great, simple skin.

    2) really my main complaint with skins is banner size like why u all make it giant or non-existent? i like so many skins except for the banner size. top dog, stunfisk'd, nimbasa's shining beauty, midnight misty revived, infernal smash, sky high, etc etc.

    3) skins that force the link underline are annoying- i'd love 10th anni pocket monsters if not for that.

    4) fixed with i haaate because i keep my windows small a lot bc i'm doing like 4 things at once but i hate scrolling sideways. so inconvenient.

    5) vBulletin default buttons are ug and they appear on a lot of styles. are they broken? were they never there? who knows. Ash's Big Test would be a go-to if not for that.

    6) not a fan of dark skins anymore. i'm old and i dont need to be squinting at text like that. liked the Johto Elite and prev mentioned Midnight Misty Revivied for a while tho

    7) not a fan of non-tradition skins. like I love the look of Garchompin'/Yggdrasil but i can't use them at all i dont know where anything is the index confuses me

    8) favs are caramel sentret, conway, and blossom shower.
     
    I use Unseen Forces! There are, of course, little things here and there that I don't totally love (like the fact that it randomly centers VMs for some reason) but all in all, it's an amazing theme! I love the colors, the banner, and the simplicity.

    It honestly just depends for me, cause sometimes I do enjoy a darker theme, but this time I was drawn to one a lot lighter. I do really love the colors, I think my profile looks really cute alongside the theme. ^-^
     
    Chromatic is my fave skin. It's not too harsh on my eyes, and it's simplistic looking with a nice pic of Steven in the header. I pretty much praise Nick's skills in terms of skins since he makes some good ones.
     
    I like most of them. Ashley's are great and I'm a fan of Jake's. Gavin's most recent styles are stunning as well.

    I only use mine though. And that's limited to Chromatic.
     
    I was using Let's Fly Together for a while, until I took a look at some of the old ones. I remember that when I started I used mainly The Stand Nexus, which is what is on as I type this. It brings back nostalgia, sure, but I'll probably go back to LFT. I like it better, tbh. X)
     
    I grew up with Johto Elite. It was the style I was using when I was a new member and to this day, I find myself going back to it.

    I do switch occasionally to Chromatic and The Stand Nexus.
     
    I recently started using the Inflicted One style, which has Kyogre in the background. But part of why I changed it was because the Y-Axis doesn't list member anniversaries. (Kind of a minor gripe, but still not a satisfactory one for me.) I still have Y-Axis on my phone, however.
     
    As a professional web designer, Fundamental is simply the best where web standards/trends are concerned, not to mention it just looks good. So it gets my personal favorite, second is Poke Link 4 though, it's held up great with changing trends and really is a solid simplistic design. I used it until the release of Fundamental.
