Hi there! I was lookin' for a fun and friendly Pokemon-focused forum to socialize on and PokeCommunity seems just the place.

Like many of you, I've been playing Pokemon since the Game Boy days and I recently got Alpha Sapphire as a gift. It's great to visit Hoenn again! Hehe.. as you can tell I'm also a fan of the new character Lisia.

Currently, in addition to Alpha Sapphire, I am playing a lot Super Smash Bros Wii U/3DS. Though I'm probably not very good at Pokemon battles (or Smash matches for that matter) I'm always up for playing with people! ^^ Fun, fun~

I have to say, your name definitely caught my attention there and given how much you love Lisia I'm sure you feel proud you snapped the name up. Aside from that, welcome to PC!

I still haven't gotten OR/AS but I plan to do so, given Hoenn was where I started playing the games and I want to relive those memories. I plan on getting both versions but like you I'll likely be playing Alpha Sapphire more, given I'm a fan of Kyogre and Water-types. We have a board dedicated to OR/AS over here if you're looking for some nice topics on the game. Super Smash Bros is pretty fun as well, so I'm sure you're having fun with it! There's some discussion on SSB going over in the Video Games section if you're interested in that.

Oh yeah, Lisia is tremendously cute, and has a great personality! I haven't really done much contest battles yet though, but I'm preparing my Milotic for the Beauty contests! Aha, well, It's awesome to hear that you're enjoying OR/AS, since the members here are having their own bit of fun with the games too~!

I had been wanting Alpha Sapphire simply because I played Sapphire back in the days... Back then, I chose Sapphire over Ruby because Sapphire is my birthstone and Kyogre also looks cooler to me, too.

Water types are rad! I always feel I need a water type Pokemon on my team that makes it to the Hall of Fame in every game.. In Alpha Sapphire, I'm thinking I'll have an Azumarril on my team, since the Marril family are some of my favorite water type Pokemon. I haven't raised one since it also became Fairy type, so that'll be cool.

It's nice for you to have Alpha Sapphire, it was also my main choice if it comes to playing ORAS in Hoenn, especially because I like Kyogre. Welcome to PC, I hope you have great time in here, and make a flashy appearance everywhere you are in PC!

How are you finding SSB? I still haven't picked up a copy yet, alas - Amazon cancelled my order the night before, and I'm not playing it without a Gamecube controller. Did you manage to get an adapter, or are you just playing it with the gamepad/wiimote? :3

Ah, yes. I have the adapter and the Wii U game. I had pre-ordered both well in advance of the release date.

I keep hearing rumors about how some Amiibos will be discontinued? No fun... Is there an economical reason for doing so? So far I have just the Pikachu one. Perhaps I ought to snag a Samus one if these rumors are true. I'm also still awaiting for the announcement of Robin, Lucina, Palutena, and Duck Hunt Amiibos!

Whats yours favorite thing about Lisia? Shes one of my favorite characters and im so happy they implemented her. :)

I havent played smash bros a ton without my GameCube controller because im not paying $90 on ebay lol. Ive played a bit with the normal wii u controller and im getting used to it hehe whats your favorite character to use (mines kirby ;) )

ORAS are some of the very best Pokemon games out there and my current favorites. Hoenn is a great region so it makes me so very happy that we finally got a remake in the beauty that is 3D, with awesome new characters to boot. Kyogre is definitely a bit cooler than Groudon so brownie points for having such good taste.

Hope you've been having a blast here so far, yeah? It would be sad if you were to disappear and such a great name went to waste so crossing my fingers that PokeCommunity ends up being your cup of tea. Do let me know if you'd ever like to chat! Enjoy. <3

Welcome to the forums, Lisia. I really don't know what to say about the character you named yourself after. She's beautiful and all, but the fact that she's the same size as your character from their overworld models means she's around the same age and not an adult, since size determines the character's age in the Pokémon world, thus making me question her outfit of choice. I am of course interested in playing against you in Pokémon and Smash Bros., as soon as I fully evolved/prepare my team in ORAS.

My favorite thing about Lisia? She's just so darn cute and enthusiastic! She's your first supporter in Contests, but also good competition, as she

and are Ali are some of the only challenging Contest opponents. Having an Altaria friend is a plus, too. Altaria's one of my fave Pokemon. :t334: (I also like Winnoa for the same reason.)

My favorite or "main" Smash character is Pikachu! He's my favorite character since I first used him back when I picked up Melee for the first time 10 years ago. In the new Smash game, I also frequently use Duck Hunt, Robin, Lucina, and Samus, too. I often try out everyone in the whole roster cuz many character are really fun to play now!

Worry not, I'm settling in pretty well here and I don't forsee myself leaving the forum anytime soon since I've always had a healthy interest in Pokemon and have been pretty active user of various video game forums for at least 2 years now. You can expect me to stay here just the same. {:3}

Ah you got a point there as far as Lisia's design considering her age. Sometimes I worry about what the darker parts of the fandom may do... >_>

I'm always ready for some Smash matches, but like you, my ORAS team is still a WIP as I haven't even gotten all the badges and defeated the Elite Four yet.
