He got "Slaine"d again. .-. Slaine is the new male Sayaka LOL.

They should rename this show to "We just hate the blonde guy."

Kinda sucks that the only slightly likable Martian noble that could have worked on that side is dead.

Oh well, gotta keep the curb stomping going.

I'm not really sure if I like this anime or not. Sometimes I get the vibe that it's just trying really hard to appear like it's a Very Serious and Good anime, but it's actually pretty generic? But then sometimes I like what's going on? I really dunno haha. It did take me a while to get into it, so that's probably why I'm doubting. All I know is that I like the opening and it looks pretty nice! I guess I'll have to watch the whole thing to see.

Here is the draw for me in this series. The Martian side has a lot more going for it political wise. Crutheo's views and revealed back story makes me more sympathetic to him in a way.

the princess to be killed so quickly although you could say it wasn't quickly into the anime!

I just don't see her being so vital to the plot, and dying so early on, especially not just by being strangled in a scene that lasted five seconds. I have this feeling that she's not entirely down for the count. .w.

She probably only lost consciousness, because Rayet let go immediately after she understood what she actually did. Most likely Inaho gonna perform CPR on her and the scene will play out like how she saved Slaine with CPR in an earlier episode. Or she really died and they will use a decoy. Maybe that's why they showed Nina in her dress and she's gonna try to at least act like the princess. They do have the same color of eyes. Also maybe that's why at the end of the opening we see the princess shooting someone with a gun. The one she shoots will be Slaine and he dies thinking the love of his life shot him.

This is a pretty popular speculation so far. Well when I read it it was more "basic", so I added some stuff for it to seem more plausible. And Urobutcher is an evil person so he might as well do something like that.

I've seen a few comments about the guy who writes the scripts I think It's Katsuhiko Takayama? and he likes to kill off major characters for character development so I am unsure as to what will happen, In my opinion having her die stupidly from that redhead losing her mind was an anticlimactic way for her to die, I was expecting her to sacrifice herself to save Inaho or something.

I just think it would be fabulous if he broke out of his writing norm, and pretended to kill her a second time around. So we all keep going "OH MY GOD SHE DIED", only for him to be like "haha jk". I almost want Rayet to be the one to try to save her. It's very possible that that ship is only failing because she lost consciousness, so.. .w. But I'd like to see Slaine interact with the main cast more, so hopefully he runs into them due to this whole thing.

I feel like whatever I think is going to happen, won't happen at all. This seems to be one of those types of series so far. > >;

Leaving her alive would be more unoriginal/predictable to be honest. Well if the ship stoped working maybe because she lost consciousness, what happens when she goes to sleep? Also to be honest I doubt Slaine would join the protagonists cast. By the looks of the opening and his situation now I think he will decide to help Saazbaum with his quest for revenge. Also the next episode is called "Before the War", I just feel Slaine is gonna become an antagonist but also have some secret real goal.
