I don't believe Inaho or the Princess are dead, the way they word it at the end makes you think Slaine took the Princess somewhere and Inaho was fount in critical condition.

The next part will probably be Slaine going totally insane because he is in love with the Princess but the Princess is in love with Inaho, then Inaho comes back OPer than ever and saves her.

I hope so anyway :S

It felt like the entire last half the episode was all a "What if" situation, and it didn't really happen. Probably because of just how fast the entire main cast seemed to die. Within a span of five minutes. If it did happen, I'm gonna hop onto the bandwagon of saying that Slaine took Seylum somewhere, and Inaho is gonna recover. Either way, I'm getting the feeling that the second part will be even cooler than the first.

I have til January to die inside, though. So basically seven years. -w- Might as well be.

What I wanted most out of this show was for Slaine and Inaho to become friends. Slaine why did you shoot?!!! ugh. can't even imagine what the second cour will be about now.

But Inaho also turned his gun on Slaine. Knowing Inaho, he would definitely have pulled the trigger. Although that could have been entirely avoided if Slaine never saved Saazbaum.

Honestly this anime was way better than I anticipated it to be. I was feeling down since 2014 has been full of meh anime. When i got my hands on this I got a Shingeki no Kyojin and Mobile Suit Gundam vibe from it. Which is good.

"Heavenly Blue" similar to "Back to the Beginning", from Fate/Zero (Amazing Opening), but it's also sung by the amazing group, Kalafina. Not only is the opening amazing, but the ending and the soundtrack during fight scenes are all breathtaking! You wanna know why the music is fantastic? It's because Hiroyuki Sawano, the person who made the music for Shingeki no Kyojin, Ao no Exorcist, and Guilty Crown, wrote the music for Aldnoah.Zero!

Slaine why? I wanted you to be friends! I don't understand...

Honestly this anime was way better than I anticipated it to be. I was feeling down since 2014 has been full of meh anime. When i got my hands on this I got a Shingeki no Kyojin and Mobile Suit Gundam vibe from it. Which is good.

I got Buddy Complex vibe actually =D

Apparently there was a live-streamed Gargantia event on Nicovideo today, and twitter posts quote Urobuchi Gen as saying:

• "Aldnoah Zero's ending isn't my fault!"
• "In my original outline, Inaho and the princess have fallen in love, and Slaine takes her away, ending the season!"
• "Don't blame me if people die in Psycho-Pass 2, that's Ubukata's doing!"

So at least we can't blame Urobutcher..

Also the "Let justice be done though the heavens fall." a.k.a "Piso's justice" thing was pulled off, so that's why the first sesaon ended this way.

The first death is Seylum; her sentence had already been passed. The second death is Saazbaum, the executioner who failed to fulfil his duty the first time. And Inaho, in Slaine's eyes, is the reason those two died, as he endangered the princess and defeated the count.
