Hikari, if anyone laughs at you for not winning a fun competition on a Pokemon forum. they need a life. But saying you had a lack of good players isn't really nice, either. You're gonna make your team members feel bad. :( You should support your whole team whether they brought home a medal or not, yeah? Cheer up, girlie. :)
 
I didn't even get to participate but I was cheering for Hoenn from the sidelines, regardless.

Honestly i never saw much of a chance that Hoenn wasnt going to get in the top 3 though :3
 
We didn't win but Sinnoh gave it our all! We really did!

Not gonna brag (yes I am) but Sinnoh had the most members who won multiple medals! Maybe we don't have the size of other teams, but all of our players tried their best!

Though major props to Forever for winning the most medals in all!

Ah well, Johto didn't win but I still had fun :) Of the 3 games I participated in I got one gold and one bronze. It was my first GT and it was awesome ^^

See you guys next year :)

Your team actually tied Kanto :)

Kanto: 2 Gold, 5 Silver, 2 Bronze
Unova: 2 Gold, 3 Silver, 6 Bronze

Traditionally a Gold medal = 3 points, a Silver = 2 points, and a bronze = 1 point. Using this system Kanto had a total of 18 points, and Unova also had 18 points. Also Unova won more medals so you could say that Unova had a wider variety of talent or had more participants.

Turn that frown upside-down! You guys didn't do badly at all :)
 
Congratulations to all PokeCommunity Get-Together 12 participants! Props to Team Unova; we tried our best! Nice job, Hoenn; you somehow managed to usurp "Gold and Silver" from Johto! {XD} Let's hope that all this Hoenn hype stays in the future when Pokemon OmegaRuby/AlphaSapphire isn't so recent, though..!

Neat trivia (along with Hoenn dominating, Kanto and Unova tying in point count, and Kalos just being Kalos.. XD)! {XD} At this rate, Game Freak should hire @Forever as an Unova spokesperson - she always seems to give that region her all, and it's been positive from what I've seen! ^^

Hoenn 9 9 4
Sinnoh 7 4 7
Johto 4 3 6
Kalos 3 3 4

Still not much for #TeamKanto either way.

Interesting, so the point breakdown for medals would be (assuming my math is right):
Hoenn = (9*3) + (9*2) + (4*1) = 45 points
Sinnoh = (7*3) + (4*2) + (7*1) = 36 points
Johto = (4*3) + (3*2) + (6*1) = 24 points
Kalos = (3*3) + (3*2) + (4*1) = 19 points
Unova = (2*3) + (5*2) + (2*1) = 18 points (although more total medals than Kanto)
Kanto = (2*3) + (3*2) + (6*1) = 18 points

(Who would have thought I would be doing math for a forum Olympics gathering about Pokemon? >_> XD)

Well, here's to more great PokeCommunity Get-Togethers in the future (hopefully I can partake in them), and more Pokemon battling/festivities!
 
7.8/10 too many people in Hoenn

0/10 basically no one in Unova

Should have had a good ol' fashion gladiatorial battle to cut down their population a bit

You guys deserve it!! I was hoping Johto: Silver or Bronze, but...
