    Animal Crossing Fashion Event

    Hello, grunts!

    Exciting news! This year as well we're hosting an Animal Crossing event for GT! It's a fashion contest with simple rules: a special theme will be given, and you'll use your fashion sense to create an appropriate and likable outfit!



    THE THEME

    ​

    ​

    This year's themes are inspired by the Villain Olympics and the eternal rivalry between Team Aqua and Team Magma. You can choose from the following fashion themes:

    Team Magma (its concepts, such as Fire and Land, its symbols, the grunts' clothes, etc.)
    Team Aqua (its concepts, such as Water and Pirates, its symbols, the grunts' clothes, etc.)
    A general sporty theme, considering the Villain Olympics concept.


    Each participant can choose one, two or all of those themes to create appropriate outfits!

    Members of one team are not limited to their team's theme. For example, a Team Magma member can still choose the Team Aqua theme (and vice versa).


    Replicating the outfits of in-game grunts is allowed, and you can "cosplay" any of the Team Aqua/Magma characters from the games.


    And here we get to one of the exciting news of this year: each participant has a 3 spots lookbook. This means that each participant can showcase up to 3 different outfits. They can follow the same theme or even different ones. Essentially, you have up to three spots and you can use them however you want to. You can even choose to use just one or two spots, but three is recommended!




    HOW TO TAKE PART IN THE EVENT

    Let's get to the practical part!


    To participate you firstly need to fill the form and then submit your look book via forum PM to BOTH _confused_piplup_ and Aquacorde. Think carefully before sending, as you only have one chance to submit your lookbook! Make sure you're confident in your outfits before you post, and don't share your outfits- we will have a public voting session, so they should remain anonymous! We will post them in this thread as we receive them. Once submissions are closed, public voting will take place. The deadline for submission is on July 25th at 12 PM EST.

    Bronze: 10 Points
    Silver: 25 Points
    Gold: 50 Points

    Joining as always! To clarify though, since it's player voted and the OP says to publicly post our lookbooks in this thread, are we trusting participants to vote impartially, since I think it would be natural for people to be incentivized to vote for their teammates?

    i hope New Leaf is ok for event i still cant find my NH cartridge.
