I hadn't either until I moved to Colorado. They're strictly a midwestern joint, so you won't see them on either of the coasts. Here's their Wikipedia article.

Meh, well, I grew up eating the stuff. I know how bad it's for you, but having it once in a blue moon seems fine with me :P

I haven't tasted McD Fries since I've stopped eating at McDonalds and other fast food restaurants after watching Super Size Me.

I don't like McD's fries either, I think we put too much salt on them. When I'm making them I only put a little on them. Yup, saving America one person at a time. :p

My favorite thing their is actually some of the McCafe drinks such as the Mochas and milkshakes. Also, their wraps and McChicken are my favorite. :)

I've never even heard of Culvers. D: I don't mind McD's fries, honestly. Back when I used to eat meat, I'd tolerate their burgers, but ugh, they were terrible compared to some of the burgers I've had at burger joints in the heart of the city. Although I guess when you pay $20 for burger, you should sorta expect something amazing.

Twenty dollars for a burger? Wow. I'd never pay that much money for a thing like this... ever. xD At our local fast food stores here in Long Island, the maximum a burger would cost is about $7. If you add 2 - 3 additional bucks, you'd be able to get some fries alongside as well as a can of soda. For $20, you could get, like, two large pizza pies.

Same here. I don't know anywhere around here where a burger would be $20 unless it was like a 10 pound one. They might be like that at fancy restaurants in Cincinnati.

I won't pay $20 for a burger because when you do that they start putting all these nasty things like lettuce and avocado and tomato relish and stuff and it's nasty. I prefer the simple cheeseburger type stuff

I prefer simple double cheeseburger at McDonalds and it's very delicious. Accompany it with fries and cola and it's a great combination.

I kind of like how the flight attendants now tell people to either set mobile devices to flight mode or turn it off if it doesn't exist.

I'm not much of a fan of McDonald's, though.

Okay, so you mentioned flight mode or airplane mode. What exactly does that do? I never flew, so I wouldn't know.

It just makes all the radio wavelengths in a phone stop working. Meaning GSM, 3G, LTE, FM/AM radio, WiFi, Bluetooth and all that jazz get disabled until the user decides to activate them again. Also for hospitals, in which the phones could disrupt the workings of a pacemaker.

In other news, why the hell are we on food again? Especially MacDonalds? I've been forsaken of such goodies, and all you guys are doing is taunting me!

not a tech wizard but flight mode means you can use your phone for games and stuff but it turns off the phone components and whatever could potentially interfere with the flying of the plane I think.

Unfortunately, I may have to get a job in fast food if I have to as an absolute last.. I wanted to work in retail, but with no call-backs, I don't see that happening at all :(

I'm not sure what it's like in America or wherever you are but it's a bad time of year to look at jobs. Christmas casuals would still be working in retail so it would be best to wait until they get dropped off (probably soon I'd think) or when schoolkids start dropping off due to their workload, and then swoop in and take their jobs.

I worked in the kitchen in McDonalds for a year when I was 14 or 15 and it was pretty tough work but eh it was some useful experience and gave me some cash which is good.

I'm just glad that I don't have to turn off devices anymore after the new rules spread. :)
