Passed Calc I easily. Failed Calc II on my first year (mostly because I couldn't understand how the theory would apply on a practical sense. As in exercises and such, the teacher didn't bother to do so and was all demonstrations. I HATE that and am terribly bad at figuring that kind of stuff out) but passed on the second year, though the subject in that semester was horribly planned. At least the teacher who gave practical classes was really good at that stuff and explained well the way theory was applied, unlike the previous year. With what I had prepared for the exams, I would very easily get, at the very least, a 16 on that (max is 20), but narrowly got a 10. I won't want to see that subject EVER AGAIN.

Got a B in my College Algebra class last semester and couldn't be more proud. All that studying was worth it. It was actually an easy class.

Cause when we hear the word "exam", our minds to epic brain farts. I'd personally be really upset if I ever got below a B, unless I know I deserved it. Gotta change that, though, cause I want As in everything next term. I got yelled at for getting a B+ in one of my classes (even though I never went...)

Nice!

I ended up getting a solid B in my mega-class. I haven't seen my grade for band, but since I showed up and played everything, I better have gotten an A. :P

Haha nice! I was in band last year, but had to drop it this yer because of scheduling conflict and the mjaority of the music we had was getting too easy tbh. What instrument do you play?

It was a couple of B's and A and one D for me.

Man, Genetics is just too much. I hope I do better next time.

I have a 3.3 GPA at the moment. Two Bs, a B+, an A-, and an A. I need to step it up so bad. :I Aiming to get that GPA at 3.5 or above next term. Which means straight As, basically. Think it's possible, with me taking English, Calculus, and History. I'm just worried about Statistics and Philosophy. Agh.

I have no idea about how the US education system works but I'm lagging so behind in my AS Levels it's unreal. Like I've dropped from an A to a D in maths and worse in physics. I need to sort it out before my exams in June :x

According to my friends, the American education system is nothing compared to what they do in Europe. Apparently they learn stuff in elementary school (primary school) that we learn in high school. :I

When I used to live in Nepal in primary school we were getting taught basic algebra when we were eight so imagine the contrast between asian countries and america ahahaha

I usually chalk the American education system's state up to lax standards to try and make too many people feel like they're winners, which is why I usually appreciate teachers and professors over here who actually have the balls to challenge students and then rip them a new one whenever the students complain about things being too hard.

It's why I think that me not passing Genetics was no one's fault but my own. Too bad the teacher didn't call me a worthless nobody, because honestly I think I deserve it.

Education here, Algebra there, it already sends shivers down my spine when I look at the fact I have to go to school again tomorrow...
(not that I generally despise school, yet there is this one certain subject I can't just deal with)
