Best Pokemon Hero Designs?

I'll say May and Touko. Their designs are neither too crazy nor too dull. As a bonus, May's anime character is also likable.

For the guys it would be Brendan (emerald) and Red (FR/LG) and for the girls I'd say May (emerald) and Hilda.

I mainly like four designs but I think they've all grown on me. I haven't ever particularly disliked a character. Maybe just a few of the minor details.

Red just has the 'classic' look going for him imo. Gold (more the GSC version) as well are my favourites...and as for females I suppose Krys/Kris from Crystal.

But out of any game it would be Wes, who's the most badass-looking guy out of them all, and he has a neat getup too IMO.

Brendan and May definitely tie for best-designed player character. Brendan edges may out though because of his pimpin' white hair. :D

Any chance for me to say that I enjoy Hilbert's design the most out of all the generations is one I won't deny. So yes. Hilbert has the best design.

My other favorites have to be Emerald's version of Brendan and Misty May. Part of that reason is because of their clothes, which are definitely different in the color scheme. Green and orange is a welcomed change from the primary colors that the majority of the other trainers wear.

But out of any game it would be Wes, who's the most badass-looking guy out of them all, and he has a neat getup too IMO.

This. How could I forget Wes, who wears a full body suit and a cape in the middle of the desert? Sure, others might not like his design, but I've always been a fan of characters who look different from normal without an explanation given.

Her. No contest at all. Nobody else even comes close. Her outfit is simple, yet adorable. I fell in love the first time I saw her and I've never turned back, not even two generations and several heroines later. You should see how much fanart of her I have on my computer...

As for the guys... um, I'll just say Wes. He beats the male protagionists in the main series games by a mile.

Kotone is probably my favorite female character in terms of design. She's adorable.
